Unfounded matchfixing accusations are not welcome. Refrain from making off-the-wall accusations without concrete evidence. |
SG live audience got such a treat compared to the TW ones (ignoring the fan-importance of local teams).
TWO KR team defeats one of which was a perfect (albeit rather boring) game, one back-and-forth almost-backdoor down-three-inhibs-to-win game, unpredictability and upsets from day 1... Perhaps the games from A&B may have been higher caliber (I knownothing), but entertainment-value-wise C&D triumphs them by a mile and then some more.
EDIT: well TW did get the giant-killing in the form of AHQ-EDG, and the ending of Group B was pretty funny with SK c*ckblocking TSM but that's about it?

God this is still hilarious, especially the 'humiliation intensifies' bit.

And Lulu.
Ggoong has been perfectly fine. He out farms every mid laner he plays against.
Watch and Save are the problems. Save keeps spamming a champion he's shit on, and the only other game he picked a non-Ryze champion was Riven which made zero sense. Watch is just bad and has an incredibly small champion pool that consists of Elise (extremely good), Lee Sin (either good or awful) and Kha (either good or awful).

Groups A/B have an overall lower skill level. SSW was pretty much the only team out of those 2 groups.

Alliance took that very slowly but they were taking every neutral objective and increasing their gold lead the whole time. I don't think giving NJWS 10-15 minutes to farm up benefits them when the gold difference increased from 7k to 17k during that period.

They have sick shot to finals, Shield might crumble against Chinese team, either of 3.

Normally I'm up for a riot hate session, but the fact that they upload vods literally an hour or two after games is soooo good.

Nawh, EU has two wins over KR, one of them being a perfect. Dade, and NJWS in particular, are never gonna live it down. if anything it'll be EU being talked up as not given their dues due to how the brackets turned out.

So far only watched the ALL-C9 and ALL-WS game. Guessing C9 have to show up huge, win both games tomorrow to force a 3-way tie?
Please C9.......

Using Twitch's "past broadcast" category on the channel lets you have them pretty much 30 minutes after they're played (since VoDs are cut in 30 minutes segments and uploaded as soon as they're finished).

I know but I have bad net even by Australian standards and twitch vods really struggle to load for me.

Most likely but we'll have to see how EDG plays in a series. That is supposedly their strength so maybe they'll not be awful and CN can claim to be decent.

Don't really think it's hindsight honestly. Everyone knew from the start that groups A/B were really weak and B was only talked about because of how it was only mediocre teams in the group. The most excitement came from TSM failing which kind of tells you everything you need to know about the group. A bit sad LMQ/C9 got such infinitely harder groups while showing much stronger performances. Why couldn't they do that in playoffs.

Well Yango was telling me that CN as a whole stagnated really hard this year so it was surprising to him that anyone was hyping the region. Hell SHRC loos like best CN team(Well aside from LMQ) at this event which is pretty sad. Hopefully bracket play is better.
