While you might be able to compare lategame power between the 2, Trist has a much better early/mid game then poppy which is the big difference. Over the past year? orso it seems that ADC curve has become much more equal in the early game because of champion, item and meta changes. I honestly think you cant keep an adc like trist down like you could back when MF/Graves were seeing play. Its more about meta/item changes then it is about teams playing more passive in lane.

Something like this: Korea >= EDG >>> China, EU, NA, TPA >= LMQ > ahq >>> wildcard If you thing LMQ is on their level, then group C is probably the group of death, with group B being a runner up. Two teams that shouldn't be killed so early in the tournament will be killed. Personally, I'm hoping for TSM and SK for more westerners, but I really don't have much idea of the strengths of the other two teams, as I'm sure is the case for most people here. SEA isn't supposed to be a strong region and China's only good team is supposed to be EDG, so we have a chance. For me this is fairly even and strong but overall strength in it does not warrant Group of Death status - there's no korean team (a region that's arguably the strongest at the moment), from the chinese team EDG is fairly obviously the strongest and Taipei Assassins might surprise many but they are not really title contender at the moment. Actually any team from group B winning Worlds would be a big (if not huge) surprise. Of course, but, at least from how I understand it, the group of death isn't necessarily the group with the strongest teams. If the group of death was simply a measure of "ability to win the tournament", then group A would clearly be the group of death with EDG and SSB. But this is absurd--they're both nearly guaranteed to get out of the group. In fact, every team that has a high chance to win the tournament is nearly guaranteed to get out of the group. Since all the tier 1 teams are safe, we have to move on to the tier 2 teams to decide the group of death. Which group will kill the most tier 2 teams? Group B will kill two, group C will kill one, or two if you have a high opinion of LMQ. Nah, group B of just the group of confusion. Group C is clearly the group of death. It actually looks just like America's world cup group. Blue=Germany, OMG/Fnatic=USA/Portugal, LMQ = Ghana. That LMQ is much better than the wild card edges it over D, and B is not a scary group to be in for any of the projected group winners.

also they seem confused by W max, it's pretty simple highest single target dps and actually faster clear until you get ~2 items (if you go ap) because the aggro reset heals too much for it to be worth using more than once on a camp. and I agree with the posts above, Mundo was the real hero here
