I mean just look how much science, funding and research goes into player fitness in competitive sports. I wonder how long it will last though cause last time Dan Dihn tried it didn't last very long. Maybe this time will be better. Well, that is a leetle oversimplified to just straight to how much we spend on performance training. The science of performance and fitness emerged because sports, in many areas, seemed to have finally plateaued in terms of "Just have a better team and they will win." There will always be better and better players but by much smaller margins, relative to the masses (generally speaking). Thus, making your equal or possibly worse players perform at the their best. I don't think we are there yet in League. We still have a lot of room for better skill (re: not-Korea) and so the impact of a coach on TSM will likely be less significant than a coach on SKT, for example. The margins are smaller at higher levels of play. EDIT: The more I see of LMQ, the more I like them. They clearly are living their dream.

I think part of that is due to NA bias, but it also is how most of these pros are, in general, very similar to us in terms of being gamers who want to win, but not be a toxic person.
