So edgy. I think we've all been saying this at this point.

TSM's picks are so atrocious. They 2v1'd with Corki, when they could have just as easily picked Kog, who does far better with early game free farm.

Turtle can't fly into the other team with Kog.

Sounds like a joke but I'm pretty sure that's the reason why WT the ad playmaker won't play kog.

Who the fuck cares what the players want to play? Just fucking tell the cunt to play what you want. This is why TSM blows, still letting players choose what they want to play.

LOL thats what vodka will do to me. Ok that explains the LCS to me. The actual stream isn't on LAN though and it doesnt explain everything else O.o

hackers could if they wanted to, but the games would be uneffected and appear later on youtube becasue they are recorded locally so perhaps they feel like there is no point

well all 10 players are on lan while in small online cups everyone's with their own connection which is 10 additional ddos victims and Riot only has to host the stream and I guess they don't show their skype on LCS stream ;D

Them having Dark fibre acces helps the streaming I think but I'm not that knowledgable with this topic.

It's on LAN, Riot did it after a big tourney did get DDOS'ed back in early 2012... I think it was a Dreamhack that they got DDOS'ed at, and after it basically ended the LoL side, Riot said sorry, and pounded out the code for LAN in 3 days to get the games to be played.

It was the Season 2 World Championship and it was because of the vehicle of ESPORTS.

As others have said this is on Lan but another big difference is that it is a lot easier to DDOS a players home connections (which is relatively minor) then it is to interrupt the major connection a studio like the one used by Riot/ESL/ect have.

While its impossible to be stopped you can increase the required power for a successful DDOS.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death
