CLG had everything before Baron :D LMQ did good job this game but if i could say, it would have been a 51% CLG loss and 49% LMQ win, something like that.
Well, if you play in NA, have to throw on Baron Nashor at least once. Especially, because Vulcun Throwbargains were CLG B-teamers at some point.

Dunno, it was very high-level game and we can use it as preview just for how competitive this split will be. LMQ aren't unbeatable, CLG aren't unbeatable, so is TSM and so on. And we will have Dignitas-C9 and CLG-C9 this week to at least judge where are CLG and Dignitas right now in comparison to C9.
Once Seraph adapts (2-3 weeks), CLG will be way stronger, i believe.

Baron was the gg for CLG, in typical NA LCS fashion.
I did mention Link, so I'm going to speak up here. I'm not bashing Link, and I'm not sure why anyone would say I did. I just don't think it's one of his stronger champions. I think he doesn't create enough pressure as nidalee to justify picking her. I don't think he's a bad nidalee. I just think it's underwhelming from him. For example, how certain Korean mid laners use nidalee in comparison to how Link uses nidalee. There's a lot to be desired.

How the heck can people keep believing there's an ignite on the Shyvanna. Did Shyvanna really have three summoners that game cause I sure as hell saw her TP/flash an awful lot.

No my point is C9 roflstomped a good team. Now they play Dig, a strictly worse team.

Definitely. I mean it was obvious that Seraph had some real big mid-late game issues in terms of communicating with team on what to do, when to go in, etc.

I missed most of the game so going to have to rewatch, but I'm REALLY surprised purple side got Twitch AND Yasuo through pick/ban...
Also why is everyone giving Seraph shit? CLG gave up two of the most powerful hypercarries protected by a MASSIVE wall in Nunu/Shyvana/Morg. If there's one thing that can shut down a Jax it's this lineup. The team has been together for about a week, there's obviously going to be some kinks to work out.

CLG games never were hilarious. They were just either bad or good, considering that if Doublelift gets caught or not, but it was before S4. God, i can't recall a single CLG's Baron throw, which was a real throw, not like let's say, this Baron against LoMoQ. And whole Spring with dexter, CLG were just stomping baddies and fighting furiously against top-2.
Only hilarious game i remember is C9-CLG, when teams just entered hardcore slaughterhouse and Doublelift was camped by C9 after smashing C9's botlane.

Ye, it's way easier for him to play Shyvana right now than Jax, he has a problems with vision control, but i hope, Monte will come to LA after OGN finals and CLG will go hard.
But i'm not expecting Seraph on carry toplaners until Week 2-3 after this game, it clearly didn't work on 100%.

Now that I think about it, I think Corki would have been the best ADC to pick this game for CLG.

I still think double offensive items on jax seems really greedy. Unless you're 100% commited to split pushing getting a defensive item before you go for your second offensive just seems like it would allow you to teamfight much better without being instagibbed before you can land 3 autos

Anyway, he's not been very impressive this game at least. Well his macro game isn't going to be as great simply because of communications so it's expected. Just going into midgame at 2-0-2 and not accomplishing anything and getting very poor farm isn't that impressive. He was outclassing ackerman on top, CLG just lost shittons of map pressure after that poor Baron Nashor retreat. He clearly has communication problems still, you can even see how stressed is he right now, but i guess it's ok. He was def not outclassing ackerman top. He made good plays but lane wise I actually thought Ackerman played the lane out much better since I thought Seraph should've been crushing that lane. Nerves probably played a big part so time will tell IMO. plz say this is a joke u dont crush ignite Shyvanna early game as TP Jax Ackerman had TP. Also Seraph got 2 assissts at lv 1 and went to lane with extra items (ward and mana pot iirc). And he got a perfect gank a few minutes later and was still losing all the duels afterwards and subsequently control of the lane.
It's only his first day in LCS so I'm not trying to criticize him here but please put the fanboy goggles off, he wasn't crushing anything

Also. Dig has beaten c9 and put then in pretty bad spots in early game before. Dig have the tools to beat c9.

The simple answer here is that there was so much hype for Seraph before the game starting, that people were being unrealistic. Thus, when he performs okay/decently at his role, people are disappointed, and say so. I thought it was an okay performance. About par with what I expected. He won them the first game against Curse with a clutch shy ult. His second game showed that first picking Jax against a team who has an answer for it, is not a good idea.

because coming in behind in experience and without flash as a hyper carry vs a strong early lvl champion and not shitting all over your lane while teleporting mid and getting kills for your losing mid is bad play.

At one point he was level 1 in lane vs a level 3 Shyvana with 10cs lead.

Honestly, it's like same thing with SKT T1 K. People just got adapted that all five are playing like demigods, so every fail is just like
- SLUMPERS - disband and so on.
It's like people bashing Messi for not playing legally good this season in Barcelona after ridiculous 4 years of tryharding when he (i'm scared but it's possible) destroyed his health by playing on 260% and carrying everything.

CLG played like they thought they were the better team. Dexter's fail dragon steal, trying to force Baron's with a Nidalee, terrible picks/bans in general, needlessly aggressive calls in general. Looked like they thought they were playing an 8th place team.
LMQ did such a better job of just playing safely and to the strengths of their comp. Really well played by them.

Keep in mind that Seraph was playing very lackluster come mid-late game. You have to admit he really was not as impactful as he could've been. Granted LMQ had a great anti Jax teamcomp and played those fights really well but that's not entirely on him. No one's saying Seraph is shitty. People are disappointed he wasn't Flame coming to deliver CLG a 1st place on a platter. Obviously it's just overhype dying down. (I'll be honest, I expected him to be some god myself)

What sort of exaggeration could this be when Shyv and Jax hit lvl 4 at roughly the same time. I'm going to have to rewatch that beginning but that sure as hell sounds implausible since he ganked when the wave first appeared and then tp'd top right after backing. That gives at most one and a half wave.
