Link is pretty versatile though as a player, so he might do well in toplane. He was one of the best midlaners in NA last season, so I'm not entirely convinced replacing him with Shiphtur is enough of an upgrade. Then again the NA toplane scene is so bad Link being moderately better than Nien and Shiphtur being moderately better than Link might be good enough. Toplane doesn't have to versatile, you just have to be stable on core 3-4 champions and have 1-2 tricks, that's it. Noone is asking for you like in midlane to play 12-15 champions to be successful. I just hope that CLG will find real toplaner and let Link play midlane, i'm almost sure that he won't fail there but still. But on the other side, who can they get l0l? Any soloqueue toplane Gods in NA right now? Zorozero if NiP fails again tomorrow? Kev1n, if {M} fails? If they get kev1n, i'm not against it tho, but he will have to rotate way more than he does in Millenium. Inb4 Coast gets eliminated, ZionSpartan moves to CLG, CLG fails hard, hype ends. Odoamne if C9 fails. I think Monte don't let them move Link to top unless there will no one who can play top lane for them.

I think only Dexter, Double and one of their managers lift in clg but I heard Link is a pretty good breakdancer....

Could always move Dexter top lane. He's big enough for it I think.

Odoamne is weird. He's like Nien, mediocre but has his moments of brilliance. Anyway, C9Eu have pretty good chances to qualify, poor k0u tho ):
You know, after Link was playing jungle better than half of LCS's junglers first 3 weeks, i'm not calling anything about it. Anyway, there are essentially no mids better than Link right now, except for Shiphtur and Bjergsen and those two won't leave their teams. Even though, getting Pobelter will be absolute CLG-esque style.

They have dexter for early game shotcalls, and then Link and Aphromoo can just get everything in their hands anyway because of rotation power. Western standarts ohwell. Or now it's like "CLG toplane has to have history with Cloud 9"?

I think his face said it all last weekend. The guy looked completely spent.

Hm. For what it's worth, I agree with Nien's decision and his rationale for making it; yes, he wasn't playing well, and yes, he was holding CLG back. He wasn't terrible, certainly not by NA standards, but he was clearly the weak link in the team. Benching him would've been a tough decision for anyone else to make due to camaraderie and the time they've shared as a team, but Nien showed he cares about CLG and his teammates by doing what was best for them- which was benching himself.
It's harsh, but it's true, and massive props to Nien for holding himself to higher standards than he had to and walking out with his head held high and in the best possible moment for CLG, immediately after the end of the split. As a CLG fan, he made the best possible decision for the team, and I have nothing but respect for him.

Even though LOL community isn't good (including me)..I think community pushed the right button here..Nien had to leave sooner or later...The point is..Would CLG do it if community didnt force Nien to step down?..Hearing Doublelift and Link..I dont think it was in their plan.. So I have to say, community pushed CLG (Doesnt matter whether it was a good way or bad..Well community has no other choice either) to take over TSM..(God I hate TSM,specially Dyrus. He gets too much praise for doing so less)

Regarding CLG Quas and "Crs would never let him go". There are 3 possibilities: 1) Voy is still mid 2) Voy gets benched and they get new midlaner 3) Voy goes back top and they get a new midlaner. 1 means they probably never get top3, and 2 seems much less likely to me than 3. Of course CLG could just take someone from EU or KR apparently, but I wouldn't write Quas off just yet.

You can't go from Curse to CLG. Only other way is possible.
And benching Voyboy will be media-death for Curse, 80% of their fans are fans of Voyboy. But honestly, Voy was way better on top, that's what i can say for sure. Also with this roster Curse won't make top-3 anyway, difference is too big between top-3 and Curse right now and there is no reason to think that Curse will magically transform into playoffs killers next split.

If Crs wants to get top top 3 the first thing they need to do is bench Voyboy lol. That guy is legitimately the worst mid ever, not in terms of raw skill (though he's down there), but just because of the way the team plays with him. He is the epitome of a player who needs four other players to hold his hand to try to make him carry, and unlike someone like Doublelift, he can't even carry when his team is devoting all resources into setting up a good scenario for him.
Their drafts are all godawful too cause he wants to feed with Syndra and Akali and is the only reason Riot hasn't deleted Nidalee yet cause this shitter somehow manages to make Nidalee look balanced.
I'd rather fucking 4 protect Cop and hope Cop can carry rather than try to play with Voyboy.

To be honest, i can recall games with Cop carrying but it's hard to recall Voyboy's carrying :D To Curse being successful, they need stable mid and Bunny playing not only Thresh, probably after it they can fight for top-3.

I don't think Bunny is even close to their main problem, if anything he and Quas are like the two rays of hope on the team right now.

Oh yeah, for sure. I've never been a fan of IWD and as much as I love Vooby, Mid is not his calling. Cop is still aight.
