The point system weights the games of higher ranked teams above those of lower ranked teams which is perfectly reasonable. (Although I'd prefer one point per match, too.) Meaningless matches can happen in any format including the simple one-point-per-match. It's a bit of bad luck that it actually turned out like that. None of you guys griping about the system are making any sense whatsoever. | ||

And there are definitely scenarios in which the XFG vs GG games does matter, there's no tournament in which 100% of the games have complete relevance, but the format's real goal was to create hype throughout the weekend, rather than having it fall short after 2 matches. | ||
