Soaz played like shit end of story no meta excuses needed. Though i agree he played poorly i found Cyanide playing even worse, and Xpeke aswell. Why is there so much focus on sOAZ ? to be fair i never considered cyanide as a great jungler, he was solid but never stand out as somebody who has huge influence on games like people like diamond or meteos

idk I just saw someone say he played badly because of the meta which is just babying him considering his reputation.

Unless Cog surprises us all by being clutch again, but then again 6-20 NACL record too stronk for me to be[le]ive too hard.
Crs's team just strikes me as all sorts of meh outside of Quas top. Vooby mid, Cop/Zekent bot, and IWD (was never impressive when he was on Dig :\ ). We'll see. IWD is better than St.V was tho. Vooby mid is meh, and losing Edward might pose a huge loss for Curse. 1) better than SV isn't saying much with his smites lol. Still mediocre.
2) Edward is a world class support, but never played like one on Curse, so Zekent isn't as large a downgrade.
3) Cog was still 6-20 in NACL, so I don't believe. I tried to believe that TBD/DTG would beat EG.NA (granted, mostly because I was pretty skeptical about the lineup, no matter how hot snoopeh is), and then that TWZ would beat Coast (both deserve to be in LCS though, well contested games). But hey, if they do I'm not gonna complain. Liquid choosing to bench Pobelt in favor of Vooby mid was questionable at best.

There's going to be a lot of hype going into 2014 and the LCS Spring Split. There should really be more intercontinental play though... Just look at the hype, this needs to happen more than twice a year. idk what Riot's official stance is but I have a feeling they see the value of international play. There's no one outside of Riot who doesn't want more international games.

No, it felt better in Season 2 when we had actual tournaments every now and then

Edit: Alright yeah the Pobelter/Aphro situation was pretty dumb. Sucks if that was 100% his decision.

Cyanide was heavy, heavy back in like S1 and S2. He's come to a point where he's a relevant player/jungler but he's not carry status yet.

There's no secret he greatly dislikes the meta currently, though i agree it should not be an excuse as a renowned top player you should be able to play everything and not just something you enjoy. I just don't think it's fair to point fingers and name names atm where appart from Rekkless they all underperformed.

Like I said above, hopefully Riot has opened their eyes a little. The "world cup" analogy is not exactly apt for LoL. Waiting until Worlds is far, far, far too long imo.

Dat IPL5.
Cherished forever in our hearts.
@Neo: For soccer there still is Champion's League every year. Which goes on for basically 2/3'ds of the year.

Cyanide has some games where he goes full beast mode but he has really shitty games as well. I still think fnatic is the most incosistent team in league.

When xPeke got wrecked by Whitez Fnatic did lose. Hmmmm....

Riot will probably start opening up and running more international tourneys now that LCS is "established" per se, and Coke Zero Challenger League will be a large boon for the amateur scene (if TL ever ends up writing about it, I'd volunteer to help with that specifically).
Also loud criticisms of the lack of international tourneys.
