yes, clearly fnatic is the best EU team and winning a BO3 against them means half the NA teams are now better than all EU teams.

Only C9 and maybe TSM, tbh. They're the only ones that have their shit together. XD.GG could be a contender (just on the back of Xmithie and mancloud), but Zuna and also throwbargains (and the worst fucking name ever) means they're still reliant on pulling out a massive early game advantage to win (happens often enough) or else withering and dying mid/late game.

Everyone else is pretty mid/low tier.

Have we seen TSM play a single important game vs a proper team yet though? Their BotA stomp was kind of not really representative of how they'd do vs a top team.

They struggle beating lemondogs too.

First TSM vs LD game was a stomp, second game the LD roster was significantly more put together and had the bare workings of an effective team. Can't glean anything from it however, and would've much preferred something like TSM vs [A] or GG.

Also TSM with Regi beat the old, cohesive LD roster, whom ended up 2nd in EU Summer Playoffs+1st during the Regular Season.

The question remains as whether or not the TSM shotcalling and decisionmaking will suffer overtly by upgrading to Bjergson, but it didn't seem like it.

Dumb format is dumb. This is far from a definitive statement of NA> EU or EU > NA. People need to look at the teams that played each other, not just the results.

Europe has a weird inferiority complex despite clearly being the superior region for the past couple years. I said that TWO teams, C9 and TSM, are as good, MAYBE better, than the top Euro teams and every other Euro team is better than their NA counterpart.

And yet every Euro in this thread is crying.

How about this.

The fact that TSM got basically a free win against a team that hasn't even qualified for LCS, and because of the format, despite EU winning the 3 other games played so far, NA will win if C9 beats Fnatic.

I really don't give a fuck about the Battle of the Atlantic winner lol... Is that really why you are all so salty? lmao

People are getting WAY too carried away with that result. C9 got stomped in every lane, they lost a fight 3v2 top and then gave away first blood. The entire game snowballed INCREDIBLY hard off Kassadin roaming top and picking up a double kill. Maybe they will surprise me in the next game but I didn't see anything there to suggest C9 will beat Fnatic without a Kassadin vs Renekton matchup in the mid lane.

Basicly what most ppl agree'd to before worlds even happend. And yeah i would agree aswell. C9 is going to do the same as last season and dominate all others. They simply are a level ahead of the rest of NA.

I just don't understand why the need to chant USA, it just irritates me so much, chant NA or C9 for god sake. Nationalism, which seems really prevalent in the US, shouldn't have anything to do with Esports exept when it's clearly nation wars or something like this. "Yes the US won, not a team but the US, USA! USA! USA!"

Anyway, I truly hope the seasons finals wont ever be in NA again, these USA chants are just shameful. I will just mute the sound from now on.

Coming from a continent that is renowned for it's rabble rousing soccer/footbal fanatics... hilarious.

At they least those rabble rousers know chants that are more than 3 letters long though

They also kill people over football matches. Love these EU tears, keep it coming.

Maybe because the USA chanters are only having fun and not trying to deliver a hate-filled racial message? But you are right guys you aren't responsible for the crazy football fans but NA teams are definitely responsible for the USA chants.

Holy crap, I honestly had no idea that's how Americans perceive the average football game atmosphere, it's mostly singing and clapping. Anyway the USA chants don't even bother me, it was a tongue in cheek reply

I know it's not the average, but it certainly happens far more than it should.

Kind of weird how up-in-arms people are about the USA chants considering it's U.S. based organization in a U.S. city with a U.S. crowd.

i disagree.

Even though fnatic beat CLG 2-1, CLG showed that they can play toe to toe against anyone.

Nationalism is just part of USA culture. At least C9 is actually all United States players. It was funny when there were USA chants for TSM when Turtle and OddOne are Canadian lol.
