You could see how well prepared they were, picking up new champions etc. In contrast to that Fnatic ended their extended vacations just a few days ago. I believe Rekkles doesnt even play Jinx and Lucian yet, or at least not at high level. I am not sure how good CLG are atm though, otherwise I would be tempted to call them favorites against Fnatic.

CLG and Gambit appear to have been the only ones to have gone into this tourney prepared. On November 24 2013 20:53 Itsmedudeman wrote: Their team play looked the same. Eh, their coordination and team picks (in particular, didn't adapt to end of S3 meta) were just abit...off. Also, Hai went full SoloQ Game 2. It just speaks of poor prep going into this tourney.

Genja played so fucking good and removed his handicap by building good items for once. I can't fucking wait for the finals to see new Genja/Eddy vs either Fnatic/CLG botlane gonna be so sick Since when was that surprising? ![]() He's only shined when he can play on utility ADCs and abuse Ashe or Varus/Zyra.

![]() Gambit still questionably overextending/diving at points. They better clean that up if they wanna beat the winner of CLG vs fnatic Really impressed with how Genja's been playing. Actually being a carry and putting out damage

But no, Edward and Genja has been performing very well, Edward especially. All those fucking Annie stuns. With a dominating Summer Split record, there's been no pressure on them to improve on their weaknesses. Hopefully this clears up Spring Split (especially with the team disparity shrinking: I have vague hope that maybe Dig will do well, for instance).
