Although Alex was clutch, i feel like Diamond is the real MVP setting up early ganks and locking down buffs.

I feel like c9's team comp could have been better, either with a champ other than rumble (maybe Vlad or some other AP top laner) or metros not on Nocturne but j4 or another jungled with a good CC. And I think that the lulu pick was OK, but they should have realized that with the kha pick they need hard CC and not lulu, so a champ like Fiddles or Nami would have been better.

Lucian's a lane bully, so it would've, but there were no deep wards (I believe), and swapping by the time Gambit showed at blue would just gimp both lanes at that point.

They first picked Rumble wtf.
They could improve their comp by picking around it.

Gambit generally played it pretty damn well. The interrupt at blue set Meteos behind through basically the entire early/mid game, and Edward stunzZz.
Though the number of times I watched the Jinx rocket get juked was amusing.

It's a comfort pick for Balls (was true terror till Rumble nerfs and meta shifts), but Gambit shut him down pretty well.
Needed more hard CC. If they revived the Ashe/Zyra bot lane, their team comp would mesh together well again.

lulu hex does a lot of work against assassins, not much shorter than fear (only 0.5 seconds shorter iirc)

Avoid the matchup like the plague when they dont pick something abusive like Ashe/Zyra Lucian/Lulu* Never have I seen a guy pick caitlyn and move heaven and earth trying to avoid the other team's bot lane LOL.

Interesting that Gambit still really respect the shen ban to the point of banning it vs c9, when korean teams have pretty much foregone shen completely.
edit: c9 with practically the same team comp, just opposite ad carries, interesting.

Gambit are known to ban "what we don't like to play against" rather than OP champs or main champs of enemy player.
And they've lost a lot of games because of it.

As wierd as it sounds, Edward and Diamond are such a good duo. Every time they 2v1 Edward will constantly go and help Diamond out and roam, makes Gambit so much scarier.

wow, pretty much the same champions in both games, just different mid laners. not too sure about the riven pick when gambit has so much lockdown, i feel like if riven tries to get into a teamfight, she'll get focused and burned instantly.

And they still pick this rumble, at least it's not first picked.
