More importantly tho is that link is a very consistent mid, shoutout to the casters for reminding me of that everytime they hover over mid during a CLG match.

The real question is: How much potential does Link have to be consistent?

probably when the horse is beaten to death

For all that deman is talking about team learning from losses it certainly didn't appear to happen to GG.EU and mineski, GG.EU are still far from mid tier in Europe and mineski still sits in the quagmire of not SGS SEA.

I don't think that works for teams that only ever lose.

Nien is really playing subpar when he's just laning. Never any wards and always gets baited into ganks all game. Conversely, I'm impressed with Trick's gank/countergank intuition.

IEMs would be much better with just one tournament instead of this arbitrary pro/amateur separation. They're gonna do the same thing for IEM Singapore next week and I see no point to it.

For IEM Singapore it's even sillier because there's a qualifier that determines some of the teams that go to the pro tourney and amateur tourney. So for example team X can beat team Y in the qualifier then finish last at Pro, while team Y can go on and win at Amateur and earn 4 times as much as the team that's better than them. What the hell kind of system is this?

Double and especially Aphro are looking really good, seems like they practiced a lot.

Obvious weak link at the moment is Nien, I'm worried for him vs Soaz.

It is the consequential continuation of what Riot is doing all year. And yes it sucks big time.
Still this tournament is not bad. Now we had the exhibition matches against the smaller region teams and tomorrow the real tournament begins.

TrickZ looked extremely on point with his map movement but for some reason he felt weak in fights and skirmishes. Maybe he is a bit shy on his first big game
Be nice, buy wards and don't feed double buff.

The separation does kinda suck I'd absolutely love to see copenhagen wolves against fnatic/C9/CLG/GMB.I honestly think that they'd be up for it. They probably wouldn't win but I'm sure it'd make for a good match.
