It's really sad to see how badly he drags the rest of his team down. well switching roles is a bad thing already in the 1st place, CLG proves that theory right like 9000 times.
Agreed, but he just does the most questionable things. Like game 2 he went towards blue, got cut off by Reapered who did good damage, then you see him go back towards blue while Reapered is still right there and sure enough, dies a few seconds later off screen.
Not to mention the game where he cast Ori ult twice on himself.

switching roles is really not that bad and unheard of as people want to think.. while there have been varying degrees of success some noteworthy role swaps for pro/top players that are completely unrelated to CLG. Besides the well-known and recent ones:
Nientonsoh ADC -> Mid IWD Top -> Jungle Crumbzz Top -> Jungle Balls ADC -> Top Hai Jungle -> Mid Score Top -> ADC WeiXiao Top -> ADC CaoMei ADC -> Top LoveLin Support -> Jungle Nagne Jungle -> Mid Save Mid -> Top ChuNyang/Spirit Jungle -> Support impact Support -> Jungle -> Top

Maknoon didn't play spectacularly in either game. What bit of laning I saw, almost felt like he was still fairly new to kayle and the second game picking kass into lissandra+riven was straight up a mistake. Kassadin 100% has to take mid lane against either of those picks to survive, and even then it's rough.
And Falcons did a very good job looking at frost's draft and punishing it. From the first rotation to contest red, frost made bad calls that game. Kassadin survives lane against tryn that early because he can silence and run away from a spin chicken. From the moment that helios got jumped on and lost 3/4 of his hp the call should've been just to give it up. Tryn+riven could VERY easily have killed shen+kass+1/4 HP elise at that level even if they were grouped. From then on it was just actscene playing absolutely out of his mind on riven.

I simply don't believe in a team that has Helios as a jungler. Plus, I don't know why people still pretend it's Season 2 and act shocked whenever CJ Entus Frost has a lackluster performance. There's so many teams that have more potential, and depending on Shy to carry the team is something that simply does not work in this day and age.
I don't think it's a coincidence that Ambition's return to form coincided with the release of Helios from the team. The guy is very likeable, but I've always thought that he simply does not have the talent needed to be a world class jungler.

I really don't get why they thought giving helios to frost would resolve everything, sure cloudtemplar had problems but it's not like helios is going to patch them all up. Might as well try to teach maknoon jungle if they were really insistent on helios

I feel like Monte's criticism of the Kass pick was a little overplayed, judging by the way act scene built Riven I'm pretty sure the trynd pick was an audible moving away from what frost had correctly assumed was a Riven mid pick. Granted the fact that they were able to adjust does still shed some doubt on to the pick, but Riven vs. Kass is actually one of Riven's least good (it's not bad but it does lean to Kass especially if he avoids a pre 6 death) match ups vs current popular mids.
I just feel like he shot down the pick as being bad from the outset when it was logical at the time.

I think overall it was just Maknoon more than anything. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player, but he seems to be on a bit of a downward spiral the last year or so. He has his shining moments, but overall I think he still has a chip on his shoulder, and the transition to mid might not be the place for him to get rid of it.

I am pro at predicting shit. + Show Spoiler +Eppa: I always thought they where overrated especially MakNooN...( December 14 2012 13:45. )
He never had very good mechanics and thats why he can't compete with the second gen koreans.

It could have been different if he stayed at top

Ughhh, Frost was really lacklustre, and the calls were subpar esp. in game 2 on red
Blaze v. SKT should be good :D

Can anyone who is actually good at math tell me how secure KT is at making the playoffs with their current position?
