On November 22 2013 19:25 Baffels wrote: This makes me wonder if Marin plays anything but rumble...ban out Roro and this is the result? he does, but his confidence on rumble is unparalleled. you don't get to the top of korean solo Q on 3 separate accounts by spamming 1 hero. while rumble is definitely his most played and probably best champ. kenenen is up their in his soloQ game counts, along with your typical: shen, jax, renekton. i think he was originally known as a lux main, and still plays a fair amount of lux in soloq (i'm assuming when he doesn't get top) also, honestly to me. marin's lived up to his hype, and i mean if we're passing judgment at this point its the rest of S has been a pretty big let down. ezhoon still showing that he can't hang with the top class midlaners. bang seems to do well, but ends up being a non-factor. beelzehan hasn't really had the chance to showcase his aggressive jungling style yet. wolf hasn't really made big plays. the little things marin does in teamfights with his always money equalizers, his positioning and kiting/moving. its really an art. is he being exposed a little bit? sure, but everyone has to have growing pains, and its not like he's been facing off against a bunch of scrubs so far. | ||

But i'm not gonna be too hard on him yet Marin gets caught out too much, 2 times this game and i remember once randomly in the jungle vs Blaze, I think, which basically changed the momentuum of that game. SKT S had control and then just lost it. Yolo queue star skills not yet transferred over. other notes: damn shyvana is so fricking tank and good at splitpushing, tank entire teams with no fucks given. just goes in as a flying dragon monte analysis: strategy banning out poro (S jungler) and taking his nunu. nunu + annie roam make poro's life miserable. with S jungler weakened, K lanes gets advantage and shove lanes and get cs leads lucian best done by deft, seemed mediocre by bang | ||

Marin got shafted from level 1 and no jungler blue buff makes a sad jungler. Marin was not gonna carry this game. We'll see what happens in game 2 I guess. | ||

Watching that game it was obvious just how confident K was in completely and utterly shutting him down. Once those first towers went down it was gg, he couldnt farm, he couldnt roam. Felt like this game was played out rather than played. | ||
