All in all though, I felt Bear played extremely well despite being down 5-9k gold down and they were still finding picks off Faker/Bengi. Renekton was just too strong, and Bengi really snowballed top hard.
I was very surprised at how Tanky Shyv was. Tanking 3-4 of SKT's dps while a completed item behind Renekton. Makes me think a farmed Shyv is real terror.

Shyvana top versus Renekton should be an easy lane for her, like any melee champ but Steak got ganked twice carelessly. The first one especially could have been easily avoided. I also don't really like her in the comp Bears used though. Kass obviously doesn't mesh with shyvana and zyra isn't that great either because shyvana ultimate sometimes knocks champs out of zyra ultimate if its a counter engage of some sort. Shyvana works best with someone who can hard cc like Amumu, Sona and the like. Also obviously great with Orianna or Lulu. Just not a great comp in general.
Also, faker hits too many charms.

Lets be honest, only reason SKT won was the hidden passive of Cait + Vi to grab that +1 gold on kills&assits that snowballed them to victory

They had varus, zyra, and kassadin, and elise... I don't see how that's bad for cc.
