you try the youtube or azubu vod?

Haven't tried youtube just yet, and I try to avoid azubu as much as I can, so...

Edit: youtube one works fine, but it's currently at 240p, so...

I think viewers lately rather than feel awe at c9's level of play, experience more disappointment at the level of their opponents. Which is sad to say the least..

I feel sad for the casters that have to try and make the games interesting. Not even Riv deserves that.

Won't be Curse. Could still just be C9 and Vulcun.

WTB good curse. Nyjacky has been so underwhelming this split. Obviously he's not the reason curse is losing so terribly, but I seriously think he has the potential to play full carry mid. But he seriously doesn't play that way. With voyboys champ pool nerfed to hell, I would think they would rotate to allow jacky to carry.

They still play like it was last split where they had solid decision making and team fighting compared to the other teams. Saint could go balls deep because the comps they picked fit and people followed up. Now its like Ok Saint is diving in when no one is in position again..... their communication and their questionable drafting this split is just depressing. Even when they win they tend to give up free objectives for no reason. The game vs TSM this week that they lost a prime example, they were winning and could have been methodical (you know like they were last split early on) and won but then they went balls deep and got their ass kicked and let TSM snowball it into their favor for the win.
Never Knows Best.

I'm not so sure Jacky is up to that, to be honest. Jacky is a lot like dyrus, imo. He will usually go even in lane, and do his job in teamfights, but will only occasionally carry with the right champs(Jayce for Dyrus, TF or Lux for Jacky). I remember someone from another team in one of the leaguepedia interviews saying this was basically Crs' problem, no one on their team can be counted on to consistently carry. This was true toward the end of last split too but that was before Saint somehow lost all his decision-making ability and was making up for his team's mediocre laning with good skirmishes and early objectives.

I feel like, in time, Cop and Edward could become the carry duo that the team needs, and maybe with the pressure off Saint could fix whatever has gone wrong with him, and Jacky would feel more free to step up, but that's much more long term than this split.

I also feel the instant ban of Rumble in C9 matches makes the NA handicapped. Its already banned 17 times vs 0 bans in EU/OGN.

So can we say by this fact that the pick and ban phase of NA is lackluster?

I'm not sure what kind of conclusion you're drawing from the Rumble bans. In EU, Rumble has been picked twice all season and has a 50% win rate. It has a lot more to do with EU Top Lanes that don't know how to/don't find the appeal of Rumble. Balls is sick with Rumble, so targeted are completely understandable and even warranted. Equalizer is that fucking good.

I'm not sure how you're jumping to "lackluster" off of the consistent bans of one champion. If anything, EU/KR teams should be scouting and noticing C9's proficiency with Rumble.

lolwut. what's with the Rumble hate? Equalizer wins teamfights by itself. Also Rumble isn't just C9's champ; TSM has been playing Rumble for a long time.. If anything NA's drafting and meta is ahead of every other region except Korea.

1. Dyrus has never played Rumble anywhere close to the level Balls has. Dyrus' Jayce is distinctively better.
2. l0l, let's not get carried away here. NA drafting is still pretty horrendous across the board. I will credit NA for picking out a strong pick in Rumble. Then again, EU/KR have been utilizing Lissandra very often and with good results. NA, not so much. So we can chalk this off to regional playstyles.

So, I have a question...

Does this mean that, after Spring and now Summer splits are over, competitive LoL takes a 6-month vacation during autumn and winter for NA and EU?

We can agree to disagree. Just because NA doesn't value some OP (*cough*TF*cough*) champions to focus drafting around them, doesn't mean the drafting itself is bad. Teams are generally very good at preparing drafts vs specific teams.

TF is even dropping down from 'always ban or pick never not ban or pick' in Korea as we speak. It's not the undefeatable monster it used to be, both due to nerfs and due to adaptations by players.

Rumble is not OP and you can play vs it and win (Anybody know why PDD doesnt play it anymore @ LPL). But mostly i say its lackluster for give it a ban in the ban phase because not only C9 have good ingame teamfighting but the are also winning most of their games because of their ban/pick phase.

And i think the only way for NA teams to win vs c9 to have overall better ban/pick phase and to have a broader and unpredictable teamcomps.

TF is countered by ahri. That's why. Watch cj blaze vs kt b. The game 1, and then the ensuing drafts.

The ironic part comes when NA actually used Ahri to shut down TF systematically a bit before Korea became more comfortable with not banning him, although it says more about NA TF's inability to deal with Ahri and/or Korea's need of side countermeasures to accompany the Ahri pick with a strong mid-late game follow-up than anything.
