Ozone does roughly the same amount of scrimming as NA teams.

I imagine they have a better infrastructure of coaches and analysts is a real help to let them focus on scrimming more. Like most have coaches but no dedicated analysts (Some exceptions such as C9 or monte's mystery team)

Monte is 99% working for CLG. Kelby is #1 Monte fanboy.

Korea loves LOVES solo queue as a part of their training

I imagine korean solo queue is great for mechanics. Maybe Rainman was right after all? :p

It's interesting, fnatic got angry at nrated over not enough solo queue, rainman as you said and lemonation said in his AMA that C9 values their solo queue practice highly. While teams like CLG do it for streams and dig trolls solo queue.

Think the Korean depth also comes into play here. It's similar to how SC2 works where ladder on NA/EU is a bit redundant since the depth isn't there compared to Korean so working on your mechanics in solo Q becomes a lot more viable.

The korean talent pool is beyond absurd right now. LoL is 40% played in PC bangs. BW didn't get over 10% in the last 6-7 years.

I don't like the Thresh and Ahri pick by CLG at all. So much for being a CLG fan.

From my experiance I've had trouble as jayce vs the ahri but I'm a bad jayce. I guess though it's pretty hard for jayce to poke ahri out of the lane and she can all in kill jayce pretty hard.

Ozone does roughly the same amount of scrimming as NA teams.

Did you get from the TL interview or where else? I'm curious. I mean koreans are known to grind out games in every game they play but I think it'd be interesting if they also go for the low-scrim route.

Yes. Iirc Ozone spends about 6 hours on scrims a day. Everything else is soloqueue.
