SKT will smash Falcons 3-0.
Ozone probably the same, maybe if Riris doesn't go full CptJack like he did in the tiebreaker then they can take a game.
Bullets 3 > 2 Frost SKT 3 > 2 Ozone
KT vs. SKT on the beach. 40,000+ people show up. I can't vote against Frost, sry. But holy shit SKT v KTF would be amazing for Korea.
We are probably just wishing this for BW nostalgia sake. I doubt that these team's legacies have carried over to LoL that strongly to be able to outweigh having a team like CJ Frost in the finals, just crowd attendance wise. Kind of a random guess of course, I could be totally wrong, but that's sort of what I would assume through my Westerner lens.
Best finals popularity-wise might have been Frost vs KTB (also kind of a random guess ), which can't happen of course. Or maybe Frost vs MVP Ozone, since there are a lot of great storylines in there and also it's the (probbly) most popular team against the reigning champions.

I'll be surprised by anything but.

NJSH didn't manage to take a game off of frost, and I don't think falcons will take one off of SKT either. Roughly the same level of skill difference.
SKT looks so much stronger than they did last season because Faker no longer has to put his entire team on his shoulders every game. Granted we're less likely to see Faker highlight reels as a result, but I'll take it if it means I get to see Faker at World Championships.

Falcons are worse than Shield.
SKT is probably better than Frost.
SKT are more experienced together, better in every position, a good coaching staff, and they have the best player in the series. I don't really see how Falcons win if SKT doesn't just get up and choke themselves to death. Falcons got an easy draw, beat up both Xenics teams, who both got beat up in NLB, and the only really good team they faced -- the team that most closely resembles SKT -- with Ozone, they got blown out hard. Really, really hard.
They're too reliant on Reapered to pick up an early kill in the Jungle; Miso, for his really good game on Vlad with the five man ultimate that swung the game, is extremely raw and is a less talented version of Maknoon up to this point; Roar, for having a nice KDA and a very stylized pool of Mid Lane champions, really is not a carry-centric Mid Laner and while he doesn't die a lot, he doesn't do much damage, either; and finally, the bot lane is just bad. Raven and StarLast are just statistically bad.
Piglet is my favorite ADC in Korea, and I think he's imp-class, so it could get really ugly.

The real question is who to root for? Royal Road candidates or returning champs?

If SKT doesn't 3-0 tonight I'll be surprised.

Falcons are just structured weird. They have an uber aggressive Top, a Jungler that needs kills early and likes to carry, a safe Mid Laner who likes playing non-standard in lane (Kennen, Kayle, Ez) and doesn't necessarily carry, and then a bottom lane who has an ADC who has died more times than killed this season.
If they get blown out tonight, the Falcons might want to look for a new bottom lane. Miso and Roar seem fine and probably need another season of experience, but Raven and StarLast were doing decently, then had a few nice moments last season, and have done a gigantic nose dive since. I mean, overall in all the games they've ever played, they have a losing record all-time.

Chobra posted a short excerpt of Faker's pre-game interview. Needless to say he's at the very least confident that SKT will win.

SKT Faker: "Since we used to be under the same team, I hope we can both take winning titles..." (1/2) SKT Faker: "Jin Air can win NLB, and we'll take Champions. I think that'd be a win-win situation. (smirks)" (2/2) #OGN

Piglet: 11-1 all-time on Caitlyn. Raven: Best champion is 11-9 on Vayne.
Piglet's second best champion is Vayne at 7-1.
In short: Raven is fucked.
