Its like they think switching stances constantly was the only way to stack the tear fast enough. Jayce had other means besides just the stance dance. Q'ing whenever possible or when you going back to lane. Actvating W whenever you can. Just have to do it constantly. It also just means that you should rush a Manamune on Jayce that much faster or even first so that your auto attack helps with stacking too along with your Q's, W's, and E's.

People are saying Jayce is overnerfed not just because of his ult not stacking tear. But rather due to his E having a massively increased cooldown. The tear/ult change is only a small part of why Jayce is much worse now.

Muramana is a massive boost to Jayce's teamfight damage because of his primed ranged W letting you get a lot of muramana proccs off in a short duration. Getting that at 18 minutes instead of what, 25 now? That's a pretty huge delay in power spike. Having E on a 16 second cooldown up from 10 seconds is pretty big. I'm not saying that the tear change didnt hurt. It definitely did, but it's a combination of the two that brought Jayce down from his pedestal of OPness.
