Jiji is probably the biggest surprise so far. Consistent player and better smiter than saint.

Oh. So you need to suscribe to MLG to get the VoDs for matches played there, and since there was no youtube nor azubu... does that mean no VoDs?

Edit: nvm, looks lire they're on youtube too, ther's no stream but the games are still up on their channel I guess?

v a wee bit too late, but thanks!

Velocity has some degree of potential

NK Inc is really good.
Cris has a smallish champ pool but is a beast on those champs
Evaniskus has some strange moments but is pretty good
Maplestreet is inconsistent but when he's on is quite solid
I don't think Vilerose is that good, but he played well his game so *shrug*

Velocity might not be the next c9, but they are a fun 'wildcard' type team.

i agree with your analysis

I believe I recall someone mentioning that vileroze is their shot caller? Or at least he was the most communicative mid they found. It's interesting, and I think he has some potential. I just don't know why he plays the same mids. It's a bit of a problem that other teams keep giving him the mid champions he wants. It means people are not scared of it to respect ban which is a bit of a problem for VES. There is no drawn bans which seems to imply that other teams do not fear these champions picks. Primarily he picks Kayle a lot. Any comments you can give for that? Is he expanding his pool, or does he really feel that comfortable on kayle?

So disappointed with Vulcun. I don't understand why Mancloud never went all-in on Double in bot. Yes, Trist is very slipper and she might get away, but there was still the chance that he Zed could land enough damage to get the kill with Deathmark detonation and even if he didn't, trist would have to use W, R or both to get away so Double couldn't punish.

That said, they made the call not to all-in, so why keep split pushing and just funneling farm to one of/the best late-game carry champs being played by one of the best carry players? Fight with five at like 20 minutes while Mancloud still has his huge lead and blow up the backline.

Really frustrating game to watch as a Vulcun fan.

uhhhh
as far as i know (and bear in mind i haven't been a part of practice for at least 3-4 weeks, as i've been doing other administrative stuff), vile plays different champs all week during practice, and then when we get to the actual games he just takes a comfort champ. not sure if it's lack of confidence in himself, lack of confidence in him by his team, or simply his comfort champs working with our comps (kayle + kennen, for example, is strong).

i definitely want to see more champs from him and it's something i'm going to push him toward, now that we're finally set up

i'm pretty sure he likes diana a lot, not sure why we never see her. he used to play a ton of rumble too but he thinks the last nerf killed off rumble. idk. what would you guys like to see him play?
i play ... hearthstone =\^.^/= Winterfox

Gragas. I think the strong engage/disengage potential of his ult would work pretty well with what VES tries to do. :>

TSM/Dig was exciting compounded by the Yi pick. Why would people be fanboying TSM after that game?

CLG game was good only if you are a CLG fan.

Not a super day quality-wise imho. As a clg fan, I'm happy about their results but it wasn't a very convincing performance to say the least.
Curse is in a pretty difficult spot, they're playing so poorly recently, I can't help but thinking that the "drama" about Elementz caused way more damage inside the team that they pretend to. Hope they can recover.

Watching this level of play from teams is embarrassing. With the koreans getting an extra spot in worlds, it's easy to see it being an all korean semis/finals. I'm not sure how winning with shitty play is at all acceptable.

No one is forcing you to watch it. If you don't like it feel free to ignore its existence. Thanks.

They might not be the greatest games, but they definitely have suspense and you should watch the Dig versus TSM game for Scarra's play alone.

I think esports has a weird fetish with the asian teams and comparing everyone they can to those teams.. Individuals are unable to evaluate teams in a region vacuum like in other sports.

Dunno, what impressed me more was TOO's map presence and game sense (too bad he was on Elise with the role TSM puts on him).

Well those boys know each other very well, so I'm not surprised that TOO was able to ghost him so well. That's what really good junglers do man.

and EU LCS is going on

fuck NA LCS play (other than C9)
E-Sports is competitive video gaming with a spectator fan base. Do not take the word "Sports" literally.
