Aren't they in San Jose? They were in SF for a few weeks when they made the transition from NY to CA and then they found another place afterwards.

It's rather silly, how TSM is doing it. I think Curse probably has best living situation right now imo. Vegas has cheap as fuck rent, and they got a MASSIVE house; and flight is only like an hour long, if not shorter.

I wasn't just being a troll or a smart ass though.

Regi legitimately has so much money. Once he's done playing he could probably just retire if he wanted to. Solomid has really exploded over the past year with them gobbling up any big league sites willing to sell and integrating them.

On the commentator topic - the British guys are getting very boring. The NA commentators are alright. Likable, polite, can't say I always pay attention but it's solid hosting and commentary. As for the British guys it seems to be more about the job than about the game. I get no excitement from them and would rather have them work in an office somewhere. Let some ex-lol progamer take over. I can do without the bad puns

That's interesting, I quite like the British commentators, at least equally with the American ones. Plus I've become familiar with Joe Miller back from watching/playing quake :D

The most disappointing thing about the tourney was the crowd after the finals though, the Koreans played godly and got scattered claps from the audience.
Inno pls...

afaik in any of the professional sports matches I've attended, when the home team loses, don't expect the crowd to cheer for the away team. especially if its a significant match or a final.

edit: especially when the teams at the event are specifically divided into regions (or in korea and china's cases, countries), it becomes even more polarizing because the teams themselves represent far more than they do normally. This event was far different from any that preceded it, including WCG (because WCG doesn't count for shit)

It was a shame that the Chinese fans did not embrace the All Stars Championship champions, and that the closing ceremony was cut short because of it, but that was kind of expected from such a nationalistic event between two very nationalistic countries. Here's what PraY had to say about the matter during his interview.

Q: Did you feel nervous or get affected at all by the one-sided cheers from the crowds?
A: Me and my teammates have competed abroad before, so we are used to the crowd favouring our opponents over us. It is just the way things are, so we didn't let it get to us. We are looking forward to the day Korea gets to host the All Stars Championship!

Q: What was the most memorable thing about the Shanghai All Stars Championship?
A: The crowd was the most memorable thing for me. Even the crowds from the Season 2 World Championship last year was not as one-sided in their support for the home team. Even so, I am hopeful that the Chinese fans will one day embrace us if we continue to make our mark in international tournaments.

It's prolly those two that make a competitive atmosphere.

I think this is one of the overlooked and yet vital differences between the gaming cultures. Korean players have a higher degree of drive to be better than others in online games. In the US, the casual mentality pervades all avenues of gaming. Tryharding is, in a way, looked down upon.

Reading those comments, it really made me sad (as a Chinese fan too!) that Korea didn't get the ovation that it deserved from those games. The fact that they didn't get a proper closing ceremony is ridiculous and makes me embarrassed for my ethnicity. Hopefully Korean netizens and players don't think all Chinese fans are like that =\.

Chinese fans are better in Dota. I remember seeing a Chinese Dota fan say that the LoL fans in China are very fanatical in their devotion to their stars, and that a large segment of the fanbase consists of fans who idolize the players' persons - ie not just their play but their personality, looks, coolness, etc. This type of fan are never happy that their teams fail no matter how well the opponents play.

Even if you don't count the DIVIDE BY ZERO ones, look at the others. Weixiao (2+4)/2=2.33 like what
