Wait so the Finals will be today as well? Not really fair to whoever wins out of NA and KR(KR btw lol) because there'd be little to no time to prepare and to plan while China would've had alot of time to prepare and plan to whoever comes out of NA and KR

The most interesting thing about tomorrow is that the 2v2 final match up will be Doublelift+Xpecial vs Madlife+Pray before they face each other again in the Korean All stars vs NA LCS game. I wonder what kind of impact that has in the real game. I know the 2v2 match up is not worth as much, but I wonder if either team will "throw"(play reservedly) it so they don't show their hand when the real thing starts. I can't imagine the NA duo doing that, but I wonder if it's the smart thing to do.

A lot of the 2v2 picks have been champions that you don't really see often in real bot lanes like Weixao playing Annie or a bunch of Kennens.

I don't think the 2v2 is going to have any impact in the real game expect for the moral part.

See, even then, it gives the teams a chance to adjust/adapt to the playstyle of each other. It gives away information that might have been blank beforehand. In other words, to not reveal their hand, the teams will have to play hugely different than their normal methods, but that's very very difficult to do even with non-traditional champion selection. In my view, the more knowledge you can keep away from your opponent, the better you will come out when you face them.

Speaking of, it's why blind pick makes entertaining games for a skill competition, even though it should NOT be used in a skills competitions. Blind pick should never really even have been invented ever in any game.

As if the tournament was designed to be in any shape or form a fairly run competition. This is a show, enjoy the fireworks.

It's definitely a great interview. I'm surprised how well Doublelift does with interviews. Originally linked here though. You are late!

After rewatching the DL pentakill fight, Alex really did poorly. After doing his melee combo and stepping back, he missed two shockblast combos entirely, stayed in baron range and had baron aggro for a solid 5-10 seconds (plummeting his AD even if he did hit a combo). I'm sure things were too hectic to worry about baron with all that going on, just an unfortunate circumstance I noticed. Things could have gone very differently if he landed even one combo, seeing as how saint and dyrus were left with a sliver of health at the end. Great game and I'm happy NA pulled through in the end.

Also IBG/blue ez is so good vs a primarily AD team with the huge armor stats.

2-0 KR
2-1 KR

Korea wins.

Korea needs to win more than any other team. Korea has realistically six teams who could make it to the world finals if they are on top of their game: Frost, Blaze, SKT #2, KTB, Sword and Impzone. China has 3 with WE, OMG, and iG. Korea's depth needs the third/fourth spot.
