SK could have very well won the first game if Candy had not played much worse than usual and missed all of his stuff. Of course now the hype train will run loose again. Nah, Gambit is far better lategame, especially if they take it seriously. That's why I don't think that SK really had a chance for victory in the first game even if they had gained a minor advantage early on. Gambit is just a far more intelligent team.

Its normal in every sport to interview loosers. Its not like your mother just died, you simply lost a game. Also Oce is always happy to get camera time. :D

Also if they did decline like that, the ice hockey viewers would think "Oh he must be mad because they lost, but so am I so that's okay" while the LoL community would be "omg what an asswipe let's trash talk him everywhere" All right, 3 and half hours free~ Time for dinner

For example in ice hockey tournaments they can just say "I really don't have anything to say about this right now" and that's that. Here they don't seem to have an option to avoid the spotlight. Also if they did decline like that, the ice hockey viewers would think "Oh he must be mad because they lost, but so am I so that's okay" while the LoL community would be "omg what an asswipe let's trash talk him everywhere" All right, 3 and half hours free~ Time for dinner I can't speak for other cultures I have less exposure too, but in American sports the losers(especially the star players) get destroyed in the media if they 'fuck up' the post loss interview in any number of ways such as a) not being sad enough b) being too sad, you're still a millionaire c) getting angry at questions asked about their loss and sadness d) not answering questions well enough e) answering questions so well you end up throwing people under the bus because they are the ones that actually fucked up, you're a leader bro, etc etc. Basically, yes we interview our losing teams, and yes fans and the media critique everything they say. You'll find people that think any emotion is good or bad(look how hard he took that loss, he's probably really motivated to win now vs wow dude it's 1 game no need to be depressed about it) any answer is good or bad(oh he was so honest vs wow he's a dick of a teammate), so on and so forth. TLDR: interviews are always a source of drama/criticism, everywhere.

Even if you did lose the series, you're getting paid by Riot so you comply.
