They just need a really good ADC I think. What... Rapidstar and Templar didn't do anything entire series. Only play Rapidstar made was cancelling Karthus ult in game 3. Mid/Jungle should be the biggest priority for the offseason fix and then ADC change if Hermes underperforms.
Honestly RapidStar and Templar was always there with Frost's successes. Even though they didn't perform that well that series, they usually do. If you watched any other series this season you'll see that RapidStar and Templar perform well, while Hermes barely gets 2 kills or goes even, just because Madlife is there to support.
I mean you can say he's new to this team, but still his not a good adc by any means. While Rapidstar and Cloudtemplar are proven.

I don't think hermes is particularly strong either, but mechanically Rapidstar got destroyed by Ambition in game 1 and game 2. Templar played well this season but in the finals helios made correct decisions pushing towers while Templar farmed and once blaze took first tower Blaze just 4man-5man mid or side lane punishing Frost's inability to deal with split push. I don't know if Frost will change any member this off-season but fixing mid-jungle is much more important than getting rid of ADC. The korean meta is early mid game if you snowball you win the game type of meta atm.

I knew Blaze would roll Frost. Now its all up to Imp and Mata to roll blaze botlane, but godtec will probably stomp homme so finals might be pretty even.

Considering the matchup I'd say he got outplayed the hardest in game 3, one requiem cancel =/= what Ahri can do to Karthus.
Not to mention he almost single handedly lost the first dragon fight.

mvp should go to ambition. that guy is too solid

Frost/Blaze sure love that Top lane Ryze, and it works for them. Interesting no other team has really tried it. I know one of the main reasons Top Ryze is dangerous is because of his lack of escapes but they sure seem to make it work a lot of the time.

Also helps that Ambition needs zero help in the mid lane, so Helios can make sure that Flame is watched pretty carefully when caught out.

Yeah, that's a pretty good reasoning. Camping Top lane is hard when the enemy Jungler is chilling there too.

god damn I just got to the thresh+xerath play on kennen in game 2. Fucking Madlife is ridiculous

The game sense there was pretty insane. Just to know that once the Xerath stun laned he'd have time to Flash and get into Flay range. He missed some Flash/Death Sentence combos though, not nearly as godly as he played against NA (of course that has to do with the level of competition huehuehue)

and they dont care if Flame dies. He just needs farm and since Blaze is good with applying pressure all over the map. It is hard to pin them down for teamfight. Flame farms till he is strong enough than he joins teamfight and owns everybody

Considering how well cptjack and lustboy played today, I am unsure if that bot lane will actually be a stomp. I really enjoyed the Janna picks as she's still such a strong champion in that role. Very surprising that it took this long for her to come back around again.

Yeah, being able to pick Janna after p.much forcing the other team into grabbing Kennen + Thresh was fantastic; great unselfish teamfighting from Lustboy in that series.

Went out last night so didn't get to see the game live, but after avoiding spoilers I woke up this morning and logged in to the Twitch page, only to be greeted with a big image that says: 3RD PLACE GAME SK TELECOM T1 #2 VS CJ ENTUS FROST. Sigh.
What are Ozone going to do about Flame? I think they can outclass or at least hold their own against Blaze in most lanes, but Homme has never been world-class (his recent good performances notwithstanding) and Flame might well be the best top laner in the world on current form.
|
I don't think they are going to 1v1 him but that said his ability to come back from being behind due to 2v1 is even more impressive. That might be partly due to how his team plays though
|
one of flame's biggest strength is that 1v1/2v1 he can always make himself relevant through CS/map pressure. Keeping Flame down will likely be MVP Ozone's greatest challenge
edit: also flame more handsome than imp :>

Was hoping so hard for Frost but realistically in Korea, if you have the best Top and Mid Lanes, it's hard not to have this immense early game that can carry you into late with a huge advantage. Holy shit Flame is a beast. Always hurts when your old school favorites get trounced by up and comers but Flame is the real deal. Such a transformation from IPL5 to OGN Spring.
I'll give the edge to Blaze but MVP has been playing at their best all postseason (can't say the same for the teams MVP O played against, zzz). Control Imp and the game is in the bag. Flame has no peers atm. dade can pull some cool tricks out of his bag but this is Ambition we're talking about. G_G, Blaze 3-1.
|
So I don't get to watch OGN much and was puzzled by something the casters were talking about. Why is it that Jayce and TF are considered MUST ban for purple side team, but not for blue?

Blue will leave either of them open because you can first pick it.
