KT-B is the main team missing. Frost too but iG wouldn't really be serious contenders.

Rengar seems pretty good. Is it just the players? Because I imagine they would be banning him otherwise as I believe he was in previous tournaments. Rengar is ridiculous, but so is Caomei. Caomei is kinda known for being super overextended getting ganked and losing lane a lot. I mean, it's pretty bad when even your Coach makes jokes about you overextending and dying(!) He's vastly improved over the last 5-6 months. Probably one of the biggest factors in WE's dramatic rise. No longer "the king of first blood". I only saw a little bit of their games from the Tencent Carnival (so behind in VoD watching T.T), but he seemed rather average (although not giving up First Blood). Any good games you can suggest to check out how he's improved? Groupstage game vs iG he looked really good. Weixiao and Misaya played pretty mediocre, but Caomei stepped up and basically took over the game. Ah, I skipped the Group Stage games. Ok, will make a note to watch them then. One thing to realize is that in quite a few of the TGA games, Caomei was playing champs that don't really fit his playstyle/mindset. He has the mindset of a 3rd position teamfight utility player, and that's one of his strengths since it emphasizes his good map movement and teamfight play--but it means he's awkward on some of the 1st/2nd position carry top laners because he doesn't play selfishly enough. When he's on his comfort champs like Cho'Gath, Olaf, or Shen, he looks way better than on, say, Irelia (which is on the same level of "WE please don't pick this if you want to win" as Misaya's Orianna).

They dominated before the asian teams started showing up at international tournaments. CLG.EU has had more success against asian competition than M5 has. Diamondprox and Alex are very good but their bot lane is kinda weak and Darien is hit or miss. Genja never really adapted to the ADC holy trinity Corki/Ez/Graves and that hurt them a lot. funny, i remember that before worlds he has been playing ONLY Corki for 3-4 months and then mixing it up with ezreal, corki before worlds. During worlds they decided to unleash the kog and nowadays he seems to only play Ashe. ( Not only here but in online tournaments and during Tales of the lane)

If we swap out Blackbean with iG and Team Dynamic with Frost I think we'd have some much tighter Groups. Although Group A would become some kind of insane Group of Death lol.

It's bad enough with XiaoXiao and Illusion doing their usual throws, but zzitai's form has also been pretty bad lately. He made some pretty poor plays throughout TGA.

I think that it's time to accept we're the underdogs and treat every match like our last. it's funny that he starts to realize this when they face Meat Playground
