I think my favorite part about this is all the people saying "this is why no one takes LoL seriously!" When this is the first time this has happened in LoL and the only reason people hate on LoL is because it's F2P and gained so much fame in so little time. Sc2 kiddies will start bringing this up in LoL vs Sc2 arguments though that's for sure. The entire SC2 vs. LoL vs Dota2 debate is stupid. When people inevitably bring this up in arguments, they're being idiots. There are idiots in all communities. You don't need to take a crap on everyone because of that.

That tweet was made by some guy assigned to promote MLG LoL via twitter. That wasn't effing sundance or something.

They'll probably just get off with a warning. eSports repercussions? We'll have to wait and see.

On a more official capacity, I can't imagine Riot finds this acceptable. Another words, I don't think we'll see ARAM at an offline again.

Well then it is the job of the MLG admins to ensure that the correct game version is played. They should just stopped this nonsense and tolded the teams to play a proper game.

When you tune in for a final and expect a good showing and instead get ARAM for game 1 it's a bit disheartening. There are times and places for things like this and I frankly don't feel like this was at all appropriate.
