Even hotshotgg did really cool commentary Since i kinda woke up just before the CDE vs Fra game can anyone tell me how good were Poland's games? Don't see any "recommended games" section unfortunatelly ![]() We've seen only 2nd game of Poland vs Canada. But it was great one. Great strategy-wise from Poland. Most of the game gold count was even or in Canada favour. Deman said 1st game was great too.

They were winning, but it was always sloppy. Poland did look good against CLG, though I felt like CLG fell apart. To me, this seems/ed like America's tournament to win. CDE basically has all players from top teams like tsm then dignitas has their whole team, most of these guys are, on one team or another, in top three of every big LoL tournament. Leaning towards CDE > Poland 2:0. I think CDE is just better, but it could go either way if CDE gets cocky/sloppy. Dyrus top, Regi mid, and SV jungle together is too good.

Are they like Dignitas where they are normally a 5s team and not just grouping out of nationality? 2-0 both EDG and CA CLG, I have to give them some props for that. EDG lost 1-2, win first game lose next two. Afaik, the Poland Team is sort of like Dignitas and have played together in Go4LoL and other events. VoDs are being mirrored here by someone.

I'm worried though, because in WCG USA, the winners bracket finals they lost 0-2 because they weren't warmed up but won the (first) finals 2-0. And today they got stomped the first game against Dignitas then regi/saint played much better the next 2 games.

Are they like Dignitas where they are normally a 5s team and not just grouping out of nationality? About Polish team: Yes, they play as strictly Polish team. And they are not team of 5 but a team of 6 (tho they couldn't afford to take their sub here). If ever they rarely change lineup. In that regard they are most similar to Fnatic which is also playing same squad for months. They are not playing under Gameburg sign since 15.11.2011. They have played under GBT for 280 days. If you want to read my interview with Mokatte (27.07.2011) it's here: http://eune.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=336872 Right now they do not have any sponsor. They are dominationg force on Polish ground. As far as I rememeber they attended 8 offline events in Poland. One of which (quite recently) was international. (Samsung Euro Championship - organized by WCG). They won almost all of those offline events. Their biggest successes are: Placing 2nd in Alienware Arena Clash of Titans after aAa (later Millenium). Dominating EUNE after split (before it was possible to transfer west). Qualification for WCG (competition was kinda fierce in Poland). Winning Samsung Euro Championship. Winning many online tournaments I.E. few Go4LoLs. Placing 2nd (lost in finals to Empire 1:2) in most recent Go4LoL monthly finals. List of their accomplishments is here: list. Tho it's little longer now. Recently they won another offline event and got that 2nd place in EUW monthly Go4LoL (maybe even sth else). They were recently practicing a lot with top EU teams (don't think here only about Fnatic and SK because there are many, many more teams on equal lvl in EU). According to smb even Wickd stated on stream that they will surprise everybody. They were quite unfortunate in all IEM qualifiers (at one of IEM finals you could see other Polish team 'FX' which in fact is/was much weaker) and they do not stream (Mokatte used to stream long time ago). So that is why you do not know anything about them. But all teams(players) playing on top of EU or having interest in top EU scene know quite well that they are dangerous opponents. GL to team Poland in the finals of WCG! as for VODS from game vs CLG: game no1: game 1 with Travis and Nhat Nguyen commentary game no2: from min 22 game 2 part 1 from min 22 game 2 part 2 till min 19:30 Screens from match against Korea: game 1 game 2 game 3 Screens from match against CLGCA: game 1 game 2 Statement from Marcin Marczak aka cinku: We were expecting easier quaterfinal games because we studied and watched Korean team in action. We didn't see anything extraordinary. But as usual our first game was an utter fail and we lost it in 25 min. That was a stomp. We tried to quickly forget about that game and gone for 2nd. But again Korea played really well and they pushed us to inhibs and 1 nexus tower. We do not surrender so fast so after over 20 min of heroic defense we managed to win usuing perfect teamfights and 'unwillingness' of Koreans to do a finishing blow. Third game was surprisingly a formality and we've won smoothly for a place in semifinals. As it turned out that match was much easier then games vs Korea. First game despite irritating TF and weak beginning was quite easy to grasp control in mid/late game. With great map control and fantastic performance of makler and czaru we won it. Second one was just a clone of the first one. Weak early game and good teamfights with map control provided us another win. It's fantastic to be in WCG final as 1 of the 2 best teams in the world! PS. Poland is not only in LOL finals but also in CS and FIFA. :D

If they win the whole thing, as I expect them too, this will be freaking crazy. On another note, wow, I just realized how small the price money is. This was an all-expense paid trip IIRC so I guess it's not too too bad.
