Belief it or not , compared to other years of WCG, this is some good music and coverage. We've just been spoiler alot with IEM and MLG and GSL for SC2. WCG has a low entry level and is promoted that way ('Anyone can qualify! Join now!') | ||

If an organization wants to be ambitious by having 9 games with teams spanning the world, they should have the infrastructure and management to pull it off. Think about the teams that make up the competitive scene versus the teams that constitute WCG. They're forced to split up into random pairings where only a small handful consist of the normal members. It would be very bad to try and award circuit points for such an event. | ||

I think the issue is that other circuit events (IEM Kiev, MLG Providence) have their circuit status announced ahead of time. WCG isn't on the list of circuit point-granting events, and suddenly adding it AFTER the event has finished would be pretty obvious favoritism to the winner. | ||
