They did not. He has his own team right now.
He is just playing for M as a substitution.

imo, CLG threw the game. They secured their place in semis. So it was facing either SK or iG

And the question is, how much were they sandbagging? They looked like pretty trolly picks from both teams.

I don't think CLG threw the game at all. They got caught a few times at the start of the game, and WE is extremely well coordinated. They played a bad game, WE played very well, and CLG know it. They are most likely relieved that they played poorly in a game that didn't mean too much, if anything.

seems really unfair that iG was eliminated based on that tiebreaker rule because of all those DC's, really wanted to see more of Whitez and Mkakotabe

Hopefully, TOs learn from this and use a double elimination group stage next time.

This also avoids having these weird situations where we have to question whether CLG threw the game vs. WE to get themselves seeded vs. SK.

As it stands, the way these round robin group stages were organized, we don't get either of the normal benefits of having round robin groups.

- More "fair" selection of qualifiers from the group due to having more games played? Not really when your tiebreakers are arbitrary.
- Give the spectators more games to watch? Only 5 games per group were actually broadcast, so it's the exact same number as would have been in double elim groups.

Yeah, Whitez and Mikako were definitely the MVPs of yesterday. Really sad that we don't get to see more of them at this event...

I would be AMAZED if clg had actually won the game knowing they would throw away a free(ish) shot to the finals.

I'm not convinced that they threw it but I do think that SK will be a much easier game for them than eHome. I think they wanted to let HSGG try Zilean because they didn't have much to lose and after the game started going bad they just sort of started to dick around. Evidenced by the surrender and by the retarded mistakes they made that are even more retarded than what they normally do. I guess we'll know for sure when/if they face WE again in the finals.

You are aware that you just said HSGG playing Zilean constitutes a serious game? Over, like, I dont know, either the best or second best zilean in the WORLD depending on where you rank regi vs jiji?
