So your asking why they aren't played when shen is super nerfed from when he was pickable and rammus is considered a weak jungle by many, amumu is still played quite a bit eu side. Singed is pretty much the definition of tank, he just needs items to not be ignorable, his whole kit is zoning, kiting and getting carry in range, jarvan is considered a tank but most top level players build at least 1 or 2 offensive items on him otherwise he is useless. I mean if you pick shen and a support in a game(ignoring the fact his lane is shit and he can't really jungle) you have 2 characters that do 0 damage late game(carries will have banshees your q + passive does like 5 percent of their health), you have a one second disable with mercs. Jax has just as much cc and does 10x more damage, and is still tanky as shit. Irelia does way more damage heals for a fair amount and gets just as tanky with super cc reduction. Honestly the only way amumu is good is for aoe/double mage for his passive as well as his ult. Plus if you look at dota it is pretty much the same thing(diff mechanics ignored) tanky dps >tanks. Also amumu is pretty much tanky dps since tears+e+sunfire is a lot of constant damage(on par or more than singed) | ||

Yeah it is so much easier for an eu sponsor to cover travel since it costs what 400$ Since esports so centralized around germany pretty much costs what 400$ for milenium to travel there? So many na teams are so spread apart and Us is so big even mlg events cost a big chunk of cash to fly to, which is part of why the eu esports scene tends to be much bigger. | ||
