Kinda silly that the LoL MVP voting list has Elementz on it. If anyone on CLG other than HSGG deserved to be on that list it was jiji. Playing a role he normally doesn't play and doing it damn well is pretty impressive imo.

I really want to see the SK vs SoloMid game now too. CandyPanda ran Ezreal and dominated with him? Sounds fucking awesome.

Yeah, Dominion seems like a good party game style map. Things with movement boosts + no mana concerns are gonna have such an advantage.

Cait has poke. Vayne doesnt.
Also she has to get in pretty close compared to Cait/Ashe and is much more likely to get blown up because of that.

Also Taric blows in teamfights, and most good players don't fall for Taric cheese. The slightly less-farmed carry hero is worth the tradeoff for a 5v4.

I think I like watching SR more than Dominion. Just too much going on in the Dominion. I know people say that SR games are long and boring, but you actually have a moment to process what is going on, analyze what happened in the last team fight, and think about what the teams are trying to do. I like being able to take a moment to look at builds and cs and gold and actually tell how the game is going back and forth.

I think dominion might be too 'fast paced.' I think it would be a better spectator experience if they slowed it down a bit. Though things might get a lot slower and methodical once the pros start taking over and finding some more refined strategies.

dominion looks really fucking stupid, no less vulgar way to put it. It's like twisted treeline but worse somehow

also the servers been really slow lately, sometimes it been taking like 30 mins + to process a game and you cant queue up again until it does

From a spectator point I could see dominion sucking, from a players perspective I just want something other than SR to play on.

That map is 7 years old. While it's "balanced", it loses its charm quickly.

It isnt the map used in dota
it causes map dependent heroes like poppy and vayne to not be as useful, as well as a thousand other small interactions between heroes differently
blueside bot lane is different from purpleside bot lane which causes side imbalance for doing dragon

Dominion seems okay for blowing steam but I hope Riot never tries to use it for serious competitions. Too many hand holding mechanics like most of your gold/exp coming from time instead of CS or kills to actually make it anything other than a dice roll.

I dunno why they didn't put jiji on it. I mean, I guess he hasn't been just straight up amazing but I think he played really damn well this tourney. Got outfarmed kind of often by the other team's AD but he typically had better plays and better positioning than the other players who main the AD role which I think speaks volumes of jiji's skill level. At the very least why put Elementz on it but not jiji? Is it because Elementz has a tier list?

dominion def seems like a map where you can just fool around

but i think itll teach bad habits, since youre basically not allowed to be passive and you need to die often, so i can see people shy away from it. therell def be a lot of ppl thatll play it for the thrill.

looks like a great player map, and not as exciting for spectators
