To talk about the games as if TSM lost because they played badly is a bit harsh isn't it? SK played extremely well. TSM certainly did not have things go their way, but I didn't really notice any particularly bad about the way they played. They were unlucky with a few ganks and there may have been some indecision, but overall, SK just came in with a clear strategy and dictated how the games were played out. I thought the player match-ups were quite even, except with TheOddOne being a much better jungler than WetDreaM and Candy Panda being a superior AD player to Chaox.

SK won the last game because, Oce got double mid+blue, Xpecial isn't a very good Janna player, Rainman barely beat Wickd in a favourable MU.

Honestly, it looked like neither Regi or Chaox understood the MU well.

People are too quick to assume the americans are the only teams who had a drink last night, and not that TSM got heavily outpicked and outplayed today (yesterday was the alternate case as the eu teams had really terrible picks somehow especially SK)

To blame drinking in something at this level at play is just silly. If thats the ONLY reason they lost (not that feeding cass 2+blue had something to do with it), then they deserve the loss. Just chalk it up to a bad game from TSM :-/

I have not been following the bracket. Is there a lower bracket TSM can fight back from or are they now out of the tourny?

Errr, I think that the match was just a bonus show match. SK is out of the tourny from going 0-3( I believe) in group stages.

It's not a show match. it was the final of EMS that involves EU and US teams. it like a league really.

Do you think playing (and losing) one tourny RIGHT before you play a match for another is a smart choice? Curious if it gives the players the shakes at all. I know I'd hate having to play multiple tournys in a day

People kept saying this match was for 5k when the prize money difference for first and second for the ems final was 1k, while the fnatic game is worth much more than that. I mean hasn't played orianna in one stream or tourney game i have seen and trm's lane trundle is an idea im still not crazy about, and xpecial has said janna is one of the weakest supports he thinks. As much as they want to win it when they are not in tryhard mode their picking can be a bit suspect.

Like i posted last night kind of fucked to have an extra set of games for them to play, right before their bo3 semis.

We're still waiting for the thing before us to finish, but otherwise we're ready to go live. Spoke to the Fnatic dudes real quick and they seem ready, but they're a little worried about Shushei's performance. As am I.

Thanks for the update. Are you worries because his performance hasn't been the greatest in previous games, or because something happened that we don't know about?
