No kidding, this should be a nice refresher for SK to feel like at least they've done something, even with the hangover rumors.

didn't he do like a 12 -2 yesterday with anivia? While the other team was dominating them?

throwing a few thousand dollar away because you absolutely had to get completely drunk the day before seems kind of silly to me :D

it's completely dumb. you can drink all the good german beer if you're done playing. looks like they're not taking it serious. their stupidity may cost them 5k euros.

I believe they had a slight edge that game, though they couldn't close it out. Though yes, he played well that game.
As for the cass game, you can't really make any conclusions. (cass is op/ ocelete is op/ w.e) Getting free double kill at lvl 2 AND blue buff, ANYONE would look good. Basically Reginald was baiting shit and took too much dmg, then left flashing pirate high and dry, then went back again when cass had blue and died to minions due to late flash. Just awful awful play there from Reginald.

Do these guys not realize that LoL is on the verge of getting big time sponsors involved and the unsigned players like TSM and CLG have to put their best face forward to prove this?
How many people want to bet that Evil Geniuses is looking hard at the LoL ecene right now trying to decide if they want to pickup a new team? These guys are not that smart showing up for this stuff hungover with all the money that is about to be on the table.
It's way more than just this one tournament and 5k that they could be pissing away.

What are you even talking about? Unless you actively participate in other gaming communities, there's little chance that players know about big time sponsors from other gaming genres secretly scouting for teams.
If you only play LoL (like most of these guys do), they've probably never even heard of Evil Geniuses.

I'm so glad SK showed what they were actually capable of in those two matches, especially since I personally hyped them up so much before IEM began. SK have been ripping other top team apart completely in online tournaments but their play yesterday was just uncharateristically bad. I'm not sure whether it was overconfidence or nervousness from having to play on the main stage in their first LAN event together, but at least they redeemed themselves today by absolutely crushing the number one team from NA.
Candy Panda my AD hero, and Wickd on Irelia is almost as godly.

Most of these guys played HoN and Dota. They are at a gamesconvention where SC2 and other titles are being played. They compete against teams sponsored by SK and Fnatic(I bet they went to those team's websites at least once), TSM put a shoutout to TeamLiquid on their facebook page.
I'm pretty sure these guys know about ESPORTS.

TSM Has Chqox who is really interested in the sc2 scene, he probably knows about the teams and or have heard about possible lol pickups
aurdon: the team liquid shoutout at tsm facebook is mine.

Considering that TSM players watch professional StarCraft (At least I've seen it on Chaox and Reg's stream) I would be amazed if they did not know about EG.
Plus Reginald has blog posted several times saying that he wants LoL to have a scene like StarCraft

Never hearing about EG is unlikely considering that they've been involved in dota, wow, CS and starcraft

Yeah I also forgot the fact that CLG, TSM, and EPIK all went to Dreamhack for the Season 1 finals. I'm pretty sure they probably noticed the people going crazy for the SC2 stuff. CLG already sponsored by Razor and Bigfoot which also sponsor lots of other esports teams.
I only bring up Evil Geniuses because SK and Fnatic already have LoL teams. You have to think that Evil Geniuses will want a piece of that action considering the huge numbers that are being drawn in by the LoL scene.
They have IEM and next week MLG to really show their stuff and they spend time documenting their drinking adventures instead of showing off their hard work and dedication.

wow so much hate for them. fucking christ maybe they arent doing this to make a living. maybe they are in college and they are doing this as a sweet gig to play games, make a little cash and travel with a bunch of friends. not everything has to be so intense.
and as far as TSM goes, i just woke up so im not sure how their last games have gone, but honestly they looked prettyshaky in group stages too. its just that their opponents werent even on the same level to capitalize on their mistakes.
