June 15th update + Notes: LiquidDota and LiquidLegends now redirect to TL.net. The general discussion forums for Dota 2 and LiquidLegends should be listed under the "Other Games" block of the left sidebar. Users who can't see these forums can turn them on via the sidebar customization menu.
Stream list and and tournament calendar migration, as well as subforum archiving is currently underway.
My first introduction to TL.net came through the LiquidLegends site. I had never played Starcraft nor really dabbled in Blizzard games before, but in 2015, with my passion for League of Legends at its peak, I yearned for a place to discuss League of Legends beyond the superficial, super-current topical style of the LoL subreddit. That landed me on the newly created LiquidLegends.net. I’d heard of Team Liquid the site through friends who were more into the sphere of Blizzard games and it eventually pushed me to apply to become a writer for LiquidLegends.
At first LiquidLegends served as a hub for discussion and a place to meet like-minded people. A lot of connections were made through the forums, chats, and games played together—I know personally that I've made friends for life through the community. The site then became known for detailed, longform content, and served as a launching pad for talented and passionate esports writers. In fact, many of the familiar faces in League esports content got their start on LiquidLegends.net. That’s something we’re proud of as our little part of LoL esports history and we’re happy for all our contributors who moved on to bigger and better things.
Unfortunately, over the past few years, community activity has decreased to a point where League of Legends is sadly no longer big enough to warrant a separate website. That’s why with a heavy heart, I am announcing that as of June 15th, 2022, LiquidLegends.net will cease to be an independent site and will be reintegrated into TL.net.
I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of the writers, graphic designers, editors, moderators and most importantly all of the active community members that made the site such a vibrant place where we could share our love of the game.

Very true, but I always appreciated the smaller user base. Specifically, the lack of highly opinionated pseudo-trolls, which is the reason I haven't posted anything there for years.
Will we get our own forum? That's all we need to keep this place alive really. And will content be archived?

Yeah
The Dota 2 and League of Legends forums will be reintegrated back into TL.net where they began, and we welcome everyone to stay around and continue their conversations with old and new friends alike.
Looking back on it, I came to League at a very rough period in my life in 2011. I was going through a lot of pain and I need something I could throw myself at as a distraction. Wasn't the best choice, but there was definitely worse. So thank you all for being here back then, for those that are still around. While my interest has waned from wanting to get good(spoiler: Never happened) to "I guess I could go for an ARAM" this place has meant a lot to me.
Huh, it's been a minute. As someone who's never really gotten on board the Twitch/Reddit/Discord-era, it was great to have the forum and the event sidebar. RIP Lovelin fanclub :'(
RIP. With ups and downs it was fun here. Shoutout to the people I've played some games with a few years back. Although I don't quite remember everything, I think it was with Ansibled and Wheelking at least. I'm probably the worst support they ever played with haha. I still had fun though.

adsmofro are you going to continually update this sub category with new patch threads and the like? just wondering if were going to get a place to discuss patches and tournaments or if lol within tl is just gonna die out entirely

A patch notes thread and one for the entire pro scene would be enough to keep some interest here imo.
I quit playing Lol many years ago but always came to the subforum around Worlds times. Hope some activity will remain and calendar will still be there.

Indeed, more is overkill seeing the activity on the subforum. If anything, I expected lol to move to 'general games'.
My name is Anthony Maglietta. I'm 29 years old from Pickering, Ontario. I love playing League of Legends and a lot of other computer games. The downside is I failed university because I'm addicted to gaming. All I have is a dead end job and an unnatractive wife who abuses me lol. Let's game on fellow gamers!
the other threads are dead. you probably cant see them because there havent been any posts for months. if you filter by a longer post date range youll see some older threads
