China is the home of mechanically gifted ADCs, I'm pretty sure teams in LPL would rather bet on pulling another Uzi out of soloQ than go with some random (from their point of view) adc from a country on the other side of the world, who has 0 cultural similarity (except the drive to win), doesn't speak Chinese, and is not a popular player on their side of the world (so can't gain followers). That's my attempt to explain to you rationally. To put it simply, I doubt if most Chinese teams even knew he was a free agent. | ||

Alternatively: do you know anything about CN's scene, their SoloQ talent pool, or CN teams' propensity to lure players from KR? What on earth does Forg1ven offer that they wouldn't be able get out of any of their existing/future homegrown/KR-imported ADCs? | ||

Then again I'm not an LPL expert so maybe this just sounds foolish. I know China has very good adcs, and I'm sure most of them are better than Forg1ven. I am trying to envision a player in either LCS who China would have interest in trying to obtain, and he's been (arguably) the best LCS player who actually went into free agency. I'm literally just trying to follow this line of thought out to see who would be the most likely (of all the unlikely) players who could be imported to China. Maybe it's just nobody. I'm okay with being wrong. | ||
