If it's Ranadive, he's a guy with reputation for... thinking up ideas, I guess? Within NBA fandom, there's a joke about his suggesting the Kings to run the cherry pick strategy. The key thing to know about cherry pick is that it's considered very unorthodox and almost assuredly will not work whatsoever in the NBA. And apparently Ranadive suggested it cause it worked for his daughter's basketball team or something? He's a guy willing to think outside of the box, at least. | ||

Which probably means one of the current owners of the Kings will own Coast. Vivek Ranadive is principal owner. Mark Mastrov, founder of 24 Hour Fitness, is one of the minority owners. Aaaand... it's actually kinda hard to look up who the rest of the non-Ranadive owners of the Kings are. | ||
