Rest in pepperonis, Oceania.
If B4 can roll over Maple in mid, i can see Thai winning a game with that glorious YoeFW decisionmaking. #YearOfThailand

TPA will sweep 7-0 though.

I'm actually intrigued to see how Avant Garde goes up against foreign teams. A hell of a lot has happened in the OCE scene since the qualifiers for WC wildcard.

Where are fucking korean teams, this sucks , very low level tournament, most likely wont have over 70k viewers on twitch. I want to see more international tournaments, with Korean Chinese EU and NA teams. Hell ,even put SEA teams in there but this is just boring and stupid IMO.I dont want to watch C level teams

There have been a ton of developments in the OCE scene, but as far as I can tell the quality of the play hasn't improved much. AG will be food for TPA.

I think having greater OCE involvement with the SEA scene is the biggest leap we could make. Not sure what form it could take but I feel like the teams at the top will need regular competition against teams better than the ones in OCE to really improve.

Time yet another TPA-AHQ finals; Unless SAJ does their surprising underdog thing again and fluke-wins over TPA.

(Because no way BKT or YoeFW wins over AHQ in a Bo3/5; And as bad as SEA/TW is as a 'major' region that possesses guaranteed spot into Worlds, it's still a stronger region than Oceania/South America/whathaveyou.)

Last I heard, Top OCE teams are on the level of Amateur SEA teams, so lets see what Avant Garde can do.

Then don't watch, simple as that.

Definitely true, I'm really excited for the OCE scene this year (and I'm gonna get hate for this but it makes me vindictively happy about the 'mismanagement' of the LPL), so any foreign exposure the teams can get is only going to make things even better.

It would be sort of embarassing if TAIPEI Assassins didn't win IEM Taipei... hehe

I'm going to follow this IEM as it's been a while since the last time I watched TPA play. Also, it would be interesting to see how the OCE team can perform against them.

Correction to my earlier proclaimation: 50-50 between yoeFW & AHQ being in the finals.
AHQ's performance in LMS so far has been unimpressive (lost to all the other top dogs in LMS -- TPA, HKE, yoeFW) I'm still tempted to give them the edge in a Bo3/5 series though.

Will Karsa be playing with Yoe? I don't speak Chinese so it's hard to keep track of roster moves, but he definitely seems like an improvement over Refrain.

It would be very surprising if Karsa didn't start considering his recent performance. We'll see though.

Speaking of Karsa, doesn't he look like the Asian brother of Santorin? I swear they look so alike lol.

Here's an interesting tidbit, last time SAJ met TPA in an IEM (IEM Singapore I believe), SAJ won 2-1. Since then they've traded games evenly, going 1-1 when in group stages in the GPL, as well as bringing TPA to 5 games in GPL 2014 spring.

Of course that was a much weaker TPA, but the same can be said about SAJ. (I still would need some stacked odds to try betting on SAJ though)
