The other two games I was on Vi (my best champ) and played out almost the exact same both games. I tried to get mid rolling both games, and mostly succeeded (blew opponent's flash or got a kill/assist). By the time I was 6 and could get to top or bot, the top or ADC in bot had gotten 2-3 kills and had already backed, so they could out-dps me. I warded, went tanky, pinged when I was going to go in, tried to get us to do dragon, and generally tried to be a shot caller both times. And both games no one would really listen, they were focused on doing their own stuff and not really grouping or hanging around a tower that was getting pushed in and was 3 hits from dying. I know I made some mistakes but was either highest gold on our team or 2nd highest by at least 1k gold both games, with similar CS to our ADC (around 100 in two 35+ minute games). I'm open to suggestions on how to improve my play, but my understanding was that as a jungler if a lane starts losing you either gank before the enemy team backs or focus on getting the other lanes to win. QQ would be ok if people were asking how to approach matches better, etc. But most people just say their down 0-4 in placements and that is annoying to read. Success stories aren't as bad to read but keep them in the right thread. | ||

Did she recently get patched or something? From a single game I'm calling her being picked or banned every game real quick here -- I saw she was only banned once in EU LCS yesterday. | ||

She's really strong with a pre-made support, we play her often and she can easily get quite out of hand. Really nice with Leona as my ADC can use ult either as an initiate or as a "gawd damnit Jek, you're going too balls deep!" safety card, alongside the "haaaaalp" situations. Sadly it's oftentimes better go Draven+X as a premade, since as premade you will/should win the lane in the vast majority of times and a good Draven snowballing can usually throw the last 3 members on his back. Getting a Yasuo enabler from the ADC spot is pretty good too. So yeah, if you're on Skype or whatever she's really good without it she's sorta meh tbh. Personally I refuse to support a Kalista unless we can go on some form of voice-com. | ||

Pretty sure Sneaky has said that the patch they're using for week 1 is 5.1, but not with the bug fixes enabled, so Maokai and the Zz'Rot Portal are disabled for the Rift, which also means Kalista's passive is still bugged. So I doubt we'll see Kali week 1, but the moment 5.1a is on tournament realm I expect we'll see c9 bust it out if they see an opportunity for it. Sneaky's been wrecking people on her by going Vamp Sceptre > t2 boots > Ruunans to just chunk people with the E for the first couple team fights. | ||

But her r and lack of burst makes her harder to play if you're not duo. Even then you basically have to have a high burst ad in order to beat/fight her in lane/teamfights | ||
