Group A: EDG+SGW, unless ahq greatly exceeds my expectations. DP is more or less a free win from their wildcards performance.
Group B: TSM will advance, will fucking bet a ban on that, most likely as top seed of group B. TPA are the dark horses, but may surprise everyone. SK vs SHRC? I'd probably say SK, but it will be close. Would not be surprised if SHRC however make it through.
Group C: SGB+Fnatic. LMQ may play a spoiler to let OMG past the group stages, but doubt OMG'll advance from this group. Then again it is Fnatic so they may choke and die.
Group D: I have never heard of KaBuM!, which probably means they're not exceptional enough to make it through what is probably the group of death. I can't really predict this one, TBH. NJWS are favored to get through, and I think C9 are also slightly favored, but that's about all I'm risking here if I had to really bet money. Hardest group to call 100%.

EDIT: If EDG doesn't perform I'll be ashamed of mah heritage. Again, definite top contender for #1 without a doubt.
The Chinese scene does have a number of issues surrounding their overall gameplan, though. Mostly revolving around map vision and objectives (and overtunneling on Baron) from what I saw.

SHRC is going to win their group easily. insec sucks against the top korean teams but he is going to style all over EU and NA scrub junglers because the pick/ban meta is likely going to allow him to choose from kha'zix/rengar/lee sin every game.

Iunno about "easily." If they can't work out their internal issues then they're gonna have a hard time. Uzi's gone on weibo (chinese twitter) saying how he doesn't even want to play at worlds.
Granted, they've still got time to work it through, but if the rumor mill is anything to go by, these issues aren't completely new.
Personally, I think TPA has a good chance at making it through if Winds shows up strong. Either TSM or SK will make it through if SHRC don't work out their internal problems. Between the two, I think TSM is the stronger team.

It is not clear cut at all that TSM will advance. It's not clear if they will even beat SK. SK is pretty strong and were able to challenge Fnatic on several occasions.
Not sure what is going on with Royal but I don't think it'll be easy rither. Then there is TPA - no one knows how good they are.
I would not be surprised if TSM advances, but it's far from a slam dunk.

I don't see how Group C isn't the "group of death." It has one of the teams that is straight up an automatic "we're advancing, you're all playing for the other slot," and 3 teams that shouldn't be pushovers and can probably all beat each other(Fnatic is the favorite most likely, but LMQ or OMG beating them probably isn't even an upset, just slightly surprising). Group D is just Alliance vs C9 unless NJWS is the Ozone of last year.
That said, the only reason A isn't the group of death is because nobody gives a fuck that AHQ got the middle finger. SGW being a pool 2 team was always going to fuck someone over, Riot just made sure it wasn't any of their western babies.

I think battle for bronze medal will be interesting this year. At the beginning of the year, everyone was on the NA hype train, citing better infrastructure and importing some of Europe's best. But now suddenly everyone thinks EU is good again, and that ALL is some great white hope. Thankfully we are getting both C9 vs ALL and SK vs TSM, so results should be clear-cut (and if not for that fucking TSM vs C9 game 5 minion, it'd C9 vs SK and ALL vs TSM :/)

I'm watching the LCS pros in Korea stream and froggen is playing fizz against a talon that literally rushed naked homeguard mobos, no swords, no items just homeguard mobos.

Would be nice to see a final that is not samsung vs samsung. U and koro1 are completely new (Though koro1 comes from the hyped as fuck next bonjwas squad of risingstars who were promised to be the next big thing then failed to make LPL and disbanded). Fzzf/Clearlove were support and jungle for the classic world elite roster and namei was ADC for positive energy/world elite's B-team. The team got into LPL by buying LMQ's spot when they left for NA in pursuit of cheeseburgers and freedom. Koro1 and U tend to play supportive style and the team's focuses are on teamfighting and getting namei rolling though occasionally U gets to play syndra and carry or koro gets irelia/jax also koro1's got a pretty good kayle which is normally used in a utility fashion and fzzf's got a sick janna that goes full AP. Generally they aren't the most steamroll laners and it depends heavily on how much lane pressure clearlove feels like putting on, sometimes clearlove will spend the entire game afk farming on J4 and sometimes he will solo win the game on evelynn, strange player to judge sometimes but still by far best in China.

Pssh doesn't matter.
They are ours now! So, if LMQ does good then NA gets the credit not China!

You call teams by what region they play in not their nationality.

How you are supposed to play vs Vayne top, assuming that your team already picked top that cannot hold his own vs her. I am not exactly sure what are the drawbacks ov vayne top in such scenario and what are the weaknesses that the team should try to press.
p.s. Lane switch should work perhaps

I'm surprised Riot hasn't put out champion face icons (the little faces you see in game) as client icons.
I bet if they charged like 100 RP each for them they'd make all the money.

Did a pro play support Anivia lately? I've seen it twice today.
