What Riot should have done is that instead of Lich Bane applying a flat amount of magic damage per auto every 2 seconds, make it ramp up as the damage is done on champions. e.g. UNIQUE PASSIVE: Spellblade: Upon casting a spell, the next autoattack does an extra (say) 1.0 AD + 0.2 AP magic damage. If the enhanced autoattack hits a champion, you gain (say) 30 plus 10% of your base AP as bonus AP for 10 seconds. The bonus AP effect stacks up to 5 times. | ||

I was reading a discussion about it on reddit, and heimer players were saying that syndra just doesn't have the mana early on to keep up with him.
