Well, last night I learned that the reason I'm silver 1 is because I play at a silver 1 level (at best) and it was a real eye-opener. So, thanks for that...I guess :D Laying in bed, wrecked and miserable, last night; I decided to set some real goals for myself when it comes to last hitting, team fighting participation and growing balls. Honestly, if I hadn't gotten crapped on so hard yesterday (in every lane, in every game) I would probably never have realized how bad I'm at CSing because I've only ever compared myself to other silver players. After a good nights sleep, soothing the pain of realizing I'm bad, I've come out more determined to improve than ever. tl;dr: Last night was an eye-opener. I'm now ready to improve. Remember it's still just a game, feeling miserable about it for a whole night isn't worth it imo. Maybe we can also do some general strategy advice in here too, usually when we play we just do stuff, but I guess just talking/writing about it can help too? Anyways, I hope you still had fun last night ^^ | ||

Well, I'm s1 atm and was g3 at the end of season 3. Even in Gold I was a monster at farming comparing to the players in my game (99% of the time I end up with the highest CS score) but watching Scip going KhaZix top made me realise that I still need to improve that :p | ||

I'm not looking to become the next Froggen here, but it's clear that being top in CS in silver doesn't really mean I'm improving. So, what am I aiming for?Edit: I did google it but I'm not 100% sure I trust the numbers I found. | ||

With some champs you naturally get more kills, and roam more, while others excel at farming. Also if it's a game with a short laning phase and a lot of skirmishes you should aim a bit lower than when it's a farm game. | ||
