Just got destroyed top using Garen vs Aatrox, gold 3.
I ran 9/21/0, ad reds and quints, flat armor yellows, mr blues
He ignored everything I did, and just healed off me or the minions. I spinned into him, he just stayed there hitting me and healing, so by the time both my Q and E finished striking, he was still hitting me and had the slow and the knockup to follow up.
He then proceeded to dive me at half health, kill me and use the passive to retreat.
Not sure what else could I've done, I felt like Garen was totally outclassed, or maybe I played like shit.

Probably both. I remember this one time though I was playing Jax top and getting handled by Garen. Then my Jungle WW comes in and just right clicks garen and I'm pinging like a madman for WW to B, and he just stands there and Garen has to retreat. Sometimes I think right clicking OP.

Olaf is like the ultimate Saint/Meteos style jungle pick.
So many free stats from that R. Its pretty cool, you can just not press R in teamfight because other team expect you too, and then they still focus you because they have to otherwise you just press R and crush their AD.
Meanwhile you just farm fast and hard and build full tank because with full tank you can 1v1 an AD while you behind less than 4k gold.
I dont think his ganks necessarily anything to write home about, but they are far from bad. Permaslow axes and red buff is pretty strong if they dont respect your map presence.
