Depends what major you are and how much socialize you intend to do. I had more time in college to play games than I did in high school

Depends on major. Arts/business can expect a metric fuckton of free time though unless you majorly stress out on work.

The real challenge of college is not having anyone to stop you from playing video games

It's basically up to you
You'll have a completely free schedule which you will fill with whatever activities you want to do
I suggest that you study for a portion of it and attend classes regularly because it makes it a simple joke to pass
The rest of it is up to you. You can socialize with all the college girls that are horny and wanting to drink if you're into that, you can spend time doing activities, you can have a job, you can sit in your room and dedicate large amounts of time to video games, whatever floats your boat.

Depending on your major/college, you should have plenty. I was a math/economics double major doing lots of time consuming problem sets and I still had time to spam tons of BW/WC3 games in college in spare time in between classes and late nights when no one wants to go to sleep in college.
EDIT: Also gaming a lot shouldn't affect your ability to get laid in college, which is a pretty sweet deal

Depends on people, on what you study, etc. I could have spent hours on organic chemistry and not have improved much than in half an hour over stochastic calculus, because it wasn't excessively my thing and it really didn't click at all with the teacher doing the lectures. Used to almost not work at all in high school and first years of college, caught up to me and in the final ones I ended up working quite a bit more, which actually surprised me simply because I had never been used to it.
Learning how to spend your time efficiently when working is probably one of the most important aspects and a thing that'll play a large role in how much free time you have if you ever encounter hardship in college, I'd say (obviously if you breeze through it you won't work much so... ).

What's your major? Semester or quarter system?

not only that, but having friends actively pressuring you into procrastinating on work to play games.
Seriously though, its different for everyone. I played more games in college than I did in hs....but some semesters I barely played anything at all.

played more video games than ever before in college you spend less time in class ^_^

Awesome, I don't believe the whole 2 hours of studying for every 1 hour in class statistic (although I'd certainly believe it for senior and maybe junior level classes) so I'm glad other people have found that to be exaggerated. I mean I intend to socialize enough, but as long as I have as much time as i did in highschool or a little less I'm good

What's your major? Semester or quarter system? I'm doing Chemical Engineering for freshmen year though I'm open to change it to anything in the science/engineering field. Depends on what I'm interested in after I learn what being an engineer or scientist really means. It's a semester system. It's LSU, pretty good price for the education for in state people from what I could see when checking around

Mostly stuff you can cruise threw fairly blindly (But these are easy GPA boosters, so be sure to grab the easy A's here). Last 2 years should be quite a bit more rigorous.

The way I look at it, sometimes it can't be helped, but as long as it only last a couple posts instead of page after page it's probably fine. This was sorta kinda tangentially related to League.

Also it's pretty easy not to have anyone stopping you from playing games (multiplayer games at least). It's also pretty depressing in hindsight when you think back about it. >.>

Take it to the QQ thread. The one that's named after you.

They didn't understand the urgency I had when I said "I haven't played LoL in 2 weeks cuz of midterms, so I just want to stay home and drink some beer and grind out 10hours of LoL".

I always found gen-ed "weed out" classes in public universities to "require" the least work, but they also generally have the harshest curves.
Just something to look out for a bit.
