I've just been going HoG more often despite it not being good blah blah blah. I tend to play lane bully, and the extra HP just gives me the ability to go for slightly crazier initiates. Leona and Taric have natural defense steroids, so it makes them even stronger earlygame. I don't think damage from the AP on Kage is an issue either b/c of Taric's armor debuff and Leona passive. Kage is nice on more pure support characters, but I find it hard to integrate into a build for a lot of champs. | ||

I don't know how much the Smite devs paid them, but Dallas only has 16k as first prize, no S3 circuit points either. It's going to be really hard for TSM to win anyway, CLG.eu, Najin Sword, Azubu Blaze should all be able to win against them. | ||

Just because they're not going to win doesn't mean the experience of playing against those teams on a LAN setting isn't valuable. If you just go in with no practice and on poor form and get stomped in 20 minutes, you get less out of it than if you went in on top form and gave each game your all. If this policy of "we won't practice for tournaments if we can't earn more money than we would streaming" continues, then TSM isn't going to be practicing for a whole lot (seeing as international participation by Korean teams makes the possibility of them even winning in NA tournaments less likely), which is definitely not good for their play in the long run. | ||
