Interesting, I have an American friend (even though you don't seem to be American this might still apply to you) at 1600ish ELO that told me in Skype people are dodging like madmen at his ELO. If I understand it correctly, there is a program called LoLNotes instantly showing you the rating of people playing with you (from: reddit) so you can more or less decide if you want to play it or not.
In addition, I had this few weeks ago when LoLking.net became so popular that I even had to read 'lololol player XY 100 ELO less than me pls someone dodge' in pregame chat.

I was trying to get better at playing Morde so I decided to find and watch some of westdoor0204's Morde games on the Korean server.... which made me think if I am too passive as a player or westdoor got balls of steel pushing 24/7 even though the enemy Lee Sin jungle was mia.

Why WOULD you push against that? Shove the lane, go back, buy that Kage's and 2 wards, ward deep enough and then start pushing.

I don't understand why people in the discussion about the strat leak of Dyrus keep talking about Dignitas losing regardless of the leak.
The whole point of the discussion is the leak and not the result. Most people here always crave for new interesting hero picks and just the tiniest chance of a meta shift. Meanwhile most also talk how (especially) the NA scene needs to scrim more, and be more proffesional. Then a NA team actually prepares a unorthodox strategy and picks, to use the element of surprice and the fact that you often lose to a lesser team, if that team has a strategy which you do not know how to play against.
Along comes Dyrus and leaks this exact strategy to the team Dignitas is facing and people are defending Dyrus because Dignitas would have won anyway. Where is the logic in that!?
Of course a meta change will not happen always with new strategies/picks, but it certainly doesn't help that the scrimming teams cannot trust each other to hold tight with the preparation.
As a side info, wasn't the meta-change from kill lane bot to ranged AD + support made from the fact that one team did this at a major event and won (Dreamhack?). They came with a new strategy/champoin pick, it worked out and we had a new meta.

That's probably what I would do, but watching westdoor playing makes me feel that he is really ballsy. I believe without a doubt that he is a good player, so perhaps it was just calculated risks that he was willing to take.

Agreed. I do believe dignitas chose the worst team of the groups to cheese against though. I dont know too many details about the strat and counters TSM tried while loosing against it but baning taric and blitz (or picking one of them and ban the other) seems pretty hard counter

is it just me or is the bot lane brush closer to blue side bugged in terms of vision. i swear i could have a ward inside and people would still pop in and out of vision for a millisec. TELL ME IT'S NOT JUST ME PLEASE
