I never said they were going to change their strategy of standard play, but at least now they're going to adapt certain comps/strategies that keep their farm til late game strat, while counteracting korean meta.

Ok then we will see how effectively they "adapt" given their practice habits and given the comparatively weak pool of teams they're practicing against.

Not in the face of Blaze/M5.

It's hard to argue that there isn't at least one degree of separation between Blaze/M5 and TSM.

I haven't really seen enough recent TSM vs Blaze, or TSM vs m5 games to judge. TSM can be pretty dominant... they should be put in same circle I think. Clg.eu too.

Pretty dominant against what? NA teams?

Again, easy to look good when you're stomping bad teams. TSM vs. Blaze is the only recent game we've seen where TSM played against a relevant team in another region and they were very clearly outclassed.

TSM facing new meta, it's happened before in EU vs NA matches, where one develops a new meta, and it either dominates other teams, or it doesn't work. Clearly, Korean meta was something TSM not use to, got wrecked. I'm sure they're gunna be a lot more weary of other strategies now.

CLG lost a lot of fans going to Korea, they didn't stream very much during their stay there. Probably more of a marketing thing, than practice thing.

After watching the EU qualification for season 2 final and the US qualification, and the champions used, I'm pretty sure the meta switch is still on. The us seems to be still behind : only playing soraka ahri mid, sometime karthus, and their champion pool in most lane is way less diversified (Dyrus said his Jayce top was an idea he took from the eu qualification).

By that time TSM/Blaze will be over 3 months old. Given that it looked like they had NO idea what they were getting into. Seeing that they were able to stall out two games for significant amounts of time, I don't think it's outlandish to say they have a shot. Would I call it a stone cold mortal lock TSM will win? No, but saying they have no chance doesn't give them their due.

Do they look good trashing on bad teams? Yeah, but you can only play the team in front of you.

CLG lost alot of fan not because they were in Korea, if anything they should earn alot more fans since Korean at first really love CLG. They lost their popularity because of all the bad results they dish out.

I have to agree with Yango here since tbh NA scene is quite weak compare to EU/Korea. TSM is at most the 4th or 5th seed in this season final.

clg.eu still seems like Froggen + 4 other dudes to me.

we'll see how things go, but I think speculation at this point is pretty difficult since there hasn't been a whole lot of recent cross-continent play (that I've seen).

Sometimes Froggen is pretty underwhelming as well.He wasn't really the shining star of the ogn finals for clg,it was krepo lol.CLG.eu seems pretty hit and miss often, when they win the stomp people and it seems unfair, but when they aren't doing well it's pretty strange to watch.

Of course the NA scene is the weakest. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. But TSM can hold their own amongst top teams if they're not being dominated by a new strat. They're pretty solid overall, just lacking diversity.

I'm not even saying they don't have a shot, just that they're not in the same tier as M5//Blaze.

That doesn't mean that I think M5/Blaze are the only teams with a shot at winning the event.

Well not knowing the seeding arrangement, there are basically 4 favorites to take the entire thing.

They are M5, CLG EU, Blaze and Frost. Its pretty equal between the 4 and I will give the edge to M5 atm.

The next Tier include IG, TSM and maybe TPA(not sure how good they are)?

Everyone else is pretty much in the last tier I think.

Well, with a really rigid stream shedule of all 10 CLG players they will make a million dollars in the next two months either way.
Do not regret. Always forward, never back.

CLG.EU were travelling all over the place and playing different tournaments across the globe each on a different patch at that time. Not the best conditions to play.

I will root for Dignitas to win, but there are many stronger teams.

Riot, I am so very, very confused right now. Ask for refund of 7page bundle to make use of 2page sale. Instead I get a prorated discount on the 7page. This doesn't solve my issue of a 20th page and now I have to math out 0RP again...

Time to bust out the RP algorithms again.

Tier 1: M5 Blaze Frost
Tier 2: CLG.EU TSM IG
Tier 3: everything gets muddled below those 6 teams

TPA can be tier 2 if they stop slumping (but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen) otherwise they have no chance with the way they're playing now.

CLG.EU is on par with Blaze / Frost / M5 and above TSM. Even TSM said some times ago they were really impressed with CLG.EU's game.

Or you could, you know, not flame them and move on with your life? If someone is playing bad or is just plain dumb, do you really feel like it's your civic duty to hurl insults at them? Grow up, dude.

I'd argue that nearly every team there is practicing hardcore - scrims, analysis, the whole 9 yards. I know CLG EU has mentioned it briefly, we've heard Orbit has been scrimming a ton with TSM, we've been seeing less soloqueue streaming from top teams.

I rarely flame, but how do you keep your cool when a guy is feeding and saying he is feeding because you didn't gank before lvl 3 ?
