I main Twitch. Solo top. Inspired by Rincent (2100 Elo solo top Twitch player on NA) I have been playing Twitch solo top for a few months now, and I have never had as much fun as I have now playing LOL. Twitch has some good and some bad matchups and if he gets ahead, he can snowball a lane and gank well. I started out playing Twitch at 1450 Elo, and after learning him, I hover around 1550. I am not saying Twitch top is the strongest pick top or anything, but apparently for me he is no stronger or weaker than any other top laner. If anything, he is my stronger choice for top. However I still get called a troll in every champ select, and out of the games where I lost my lane, I honestly think I have been reported 8 out of 10 times (often enemy team reports too) - this is the case even if I started ganking a lot midgame and came out on top late game. No mention of the times I snowballed and carried hard. I never worried too much about the reports as I am not trolling, but rather trying my best to win. But oh well. I try to log into my account today and get this message: Certain in-game activity on your account has been found to be in violation of the Summoner’s Code by the Tribunal. As such, your account and forum posting privileges will be temporarily suspended until 2012-06-03 04:40:05. I got a 3 day ban without warning. This is the elaboration I got from the e-mail: The most common cause for this warning is either harassment or disruption of gameplay (intentional feeding, etc.). Bear in mind that the definition of harassment can range from direct, overt verbal harassment, to intentionally creating an unpleasant gameplay environment. Harassment or disruption of gameplay? I don't flame unless someone flames me, then I tell them to fuck off. I never intentionally feed or go afk and I always fight till the bitter end. All things considered, I can come to no other conclusion than this: Reports for intentional feeding when playing Twitch top got me temp banned. I don't know what to do now. I don't want to lose my account but I also don't want to stop playing the champion that I am best at and enjoy the most. I am at a complete loss and I cannot believe this ban, much less with no warning. It feels unjust. Does anyone have experience in a case like this? Advice would be greatly appreciated. Also 100 cs by 15 min is good. It's all relative and its easy to deny fizz cs for some levels while he can do the same for sometime. You can't really push with him early game so getting wraiths everyspawn is impossible. If you win cs doesn't matter. He is a lot like Kassadin when in lane. | ||

Thanks in advance. I would email them and see if you can get a direct reason for the ban. Normally Tribunal bans are looked at by Rioters before the ban actually goes out, so they apparently saw a reason to ban you. If nothing else, it will tell you what NOT to do in order to avoid getting banned. Personally, I have no issues with teammates playing Twitch - I think he's a very strong champion in the right hands. But yeah, see if you can't contact them and find reasons. | ||

Thanks in advance. Make a big deal about it. Make a post on the forums, get some outrage going on reddit, etc, etc. Anything just to get Riot's attention. Then, one of three things will happen: A red appears and goes 'hey no you're a douchebag remember times x y and z when you flamed the fuck out of your team and blah blah blah ban deserved', and it's hilarious for everyone OR They completely ignore you, but maybe they take note of the situation and it doesn't happen again OR They post and are all like 'oh shit our bad, you're good dude' I was just kidding on that third option, but you get the idea. | ||

But yeah, see if you can't contact them and find reasons. nah, having been banned several times, riot will NOT tell you why you were banned, and if they do, it will be several weeks/months after your ban has expired anyway best thing to do is to either get godly with twitch so you always win, or stop playing him til he's a more "acceptable" pick sucks to say but it's true  | ||

When the actual game progresses, a simple minor mistake that isn't champ-bound, will make them flame you even harder, because you didn't pick what they liked. | ||

But if it's infact like he posted he's prolly not banned because of flaming but because everytime he loses people automatically blame Top Twitch it ain't his fault which is ridiculous. Thats what I understood. I agree with you though that flame shouldnt be countered with flame, like a few days ago Wickd played against M5 toplaner and he flamed him hard in the chat while Wickd only laughed in his mic and didnt write a single workd back.
