Wow, close game! Right up until the point where it wasn't. >_<

Curse looked good coming out the box, but TSM is just a little bit too sharp with this particular team comp, and they played toplane Shen the way you're supposed to play him: gank the fool constantly.

On a side note, there are a couple ways that LoL lags behind SC2 in terms of community and support. (One example might be that I find the best LoL discussion takes place on a SC2 website.) But I think one of the biggest contrasts is commentary. These guys are just.... I mean, they didn't even mention Regi's split push until it was over. So little map awareness. >_<

Torch is relatively new to the game and well wombat, is prolly the catzpajamas of lol not that entertaining though

I mean, that's kind of my point, isn't it? But it's not like Phreak or Rivington really bring anything. On an SC2 cast, they'd be like "least acceptable".

I dunno if anyone is even watching this tournament anymore but I remember when saint first started talking about their new top laner and said he was "better than all the other top laners!" Then we found out it was Westrice. He's died three times already in top lanes, two of his deaths were just straight up 1v1s against Sycho Sid's Wukong (Westrice was playing Vladimir).

I really hate the over the top compliments on the plays that happen in the game by the commentators
It is not a beautifull ward, it is not an amazing teleport, the guy simply pressed a button
i understand they are trying to create exitement out of nothing but going about how beautifull and amazing was that red buff smite just sounds lame and makes good plays not stand out,

Two reasons. First, while the number of viewers on SC2 might be lower, there's definitely more passionate fans. SC2 has a much better "community" backing it than LoL. For evidence, just look here. TL is a massive site run mostly by volunteers who just care that damn much about the game. LoL has a bunch of sites (solomid.net, clg's site, reignofgaming.com, etc.), but none of them have communities as active or engaged as TL. One of the best things about TL is how easy they make it to find information about tournaments. Brackets, streams, live discussion, etc. are all very easily accessible. To my knowledge, there's nothing like this anywhere for LoL.

All of that's a long way of saying, better/more engaged community --> more active live report thread.

Or we're too new of a community to push for it; btw the TL'ers here are the ones sourcing Leaguepedia and such; They're some really passionate people; it's just we don't have the system yet to set up for it.

Anyways for this tourney;
I expect TSM / TD to end up in the finals.
Dark Horse who has a possibility to make it through is DNG (although this is partially bias, partially cause of schedule).
And the match to watch will CLG Prime/Curse (CRS) then the semi-finals match of that between (TSM/TGF).
