That's not true. You can be matched against arranged teams, and the exp/ip points will adjust at the end of the game to reflect such advantage (in normal games). That blows -.- I gues it's needed to make games come up faster but I rather just wait an extra 5 minutes not to face them.

If we're going to migrate anywhere lets build a Mumble server. High quality like ventrillo and real time like teamspeak.

I've never used Teamspeak but the TL integration is kinda cool imoimo. Only downside being people like badjacob needing to get themselves unbanned before they can use the server. I dunno. I just hope it doesn't strain my internet any more than vent does, my connection is fragile.

Speaking of ping people really pretend 300 ms ping is something gamebreaking. Im certainly not low apm and i don't notice the ping like at all (i have 300 ping cause i'm playing on US from EU). FPS was because i needed to shut down lolclient.exe but was too lazy to alt+tab

Oh gawd, I just read the TL news... The vent server is going away because the TS server is FREEEEEEE from the sponsor.
I'll test it out tonight. Hopefully they've upped the quality since I last used TS.. At least the TS overlay works better than Vent and the delay is almost zero! *crosses fingers*

300 ping is comparable to a good dial-up connection to a local server. It's really dependent on the overall bandwidth, but yeah that kind of delay is definitely noticeable. Certainly not game breaking though.
500 ping is comparable to AOL dial-up. (not kidding, tested) At this level you're going to be ghosting around a lot and missing some hits.
