All replay systems that we've seen from Riot allow you to see what the opponent can see afterwards. From the WSG's you can see the observers can at any time remove fog of war to see both teams, or make it so they only see one team's vision, etc. @Odds lol that winrate no longer exists even. But what's funny is my friend and me ran galio + garen lane and we got that score bot lane from both games.

The replay tool if it only shows your team can always be used to see how you and teammates played. Would be good for premade 5's to show any mistakes and where to improve upon.

He averaged 34 assists/game I had 35 kda, that's very different.. I just had 0 deaths in 2 of the games and 1 in the other 2 so I basically average 17.5 kills+assists per game, which is less.

Either someone dedicated and skilled is going to put in the effort and fraps streams/their own games beforehand and get the jump on everyone or there will be a crapsplosion of terrible wannabes when replays finally arrive.

As for observer mode, after a little bit it became quite obvious from the hack that they couldn't look at things from the point of view of the *other* team (the team the 6th player observer wasn't on), which just goes to show how much of a last minute hack the thing was. In any case, while no one is prevented from making use of the new replays, being able to see the opponents is a nice thing in any case that replays as a whole don't feel complete without. Also from the description of the replay program it sounds like your replays will last <2 weeks and desync every time you update your patch.

I'm pretty sure the replay program prevents desyncs by keeping backups of the LoL client. Seems that way, anyway, since it includes a diff'ing/patching program and tries to launch a specific version, I believe. Wasn't working for me yesterday anyhow, although the new version today works for me. I'll probably disassemble it at some point and look at what its grabbing from the game, cause I'm kinda interested in whether or not replays can be overlapped to generate a complete view. (Obviously it would be pretty much impossible to ever get a fully complete replay from both teams except in tournament situations, but getting it from one whole team would still be useful imo.)
